It’s a really good place! I would totally recommended! I went with my aunt and mum to get my nails done for the first time and was an amazing experience. They were really friendly and the minute we walked in they were already all set up for the pedicure! After cleaning and massaging my feet, they let me choose a color and it came out super neat. After that they did my nails. I asked for a color based of of my favorite album and they had the perfect color. I originaly asked for a almond shape but they said a square shape would look better so went with that. I asked for black ⚫ and purple acrylics. They put on the nail tip, added the acrylic powder and then painted my nails. They finished this set in under an hour. The set cost around $30.

I have been going to Tara’s Nails for a while now and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is super welcoming, and I have become like a regular. The nail techs know exactly what I want and the owner of the salon always knows how to make my designs on my nails look amazing and unique. To be honest it has been HARD to find a decent nail place since I moved to the bay. I came here once before to get dip nails and they didn’t last as I thought they would- but they have good customer service so I decided to try a different method and come back in. I have to note that this is a pretty affordable salon! Definitely when it comes to pricing you get what you pay for- the pretty standard nail care routine unless you want to upgrade i’d assume. Both times i’ve called they’ve been able to get me in right away. So for the services:

They got me in last minute for a full dip set with French tip. My nail technician communicated with me the entire way through about shape, color, size of French tip etc. I thought it was priced fairly and they got a beautiful set done in about 1 hour, WOW … yet I did not feel rushed through! 4.5 rating?Way too high for this dump. Cheap pedi which I like, but thee worst waxing job I have ever experienced. I think the girl was mad that I asked for the prices and I opted out of the brows and boy did her attitude shift. She rushed my wax and it hurt more than I’ve experienced. She said it’s just a sensitive area but I’ve had waxing done for years and I know the difference between good work and sloppy work. this is the first to regret. I was too generous to give her $2. Would not recommend. I would only go back if I could refund my $2.

This place is perfect to go to if you are on a budget and want a pedicure. Otherwise? Don’t even bother getting your nails done here. I had a young woman who immediately just started drilling down my nail. Her way of fixing my cuticles was attempting to use this drill (it was way too big) and causing them to bleed. She apologized, clearly this was uncomfortable for me but chose not to change her method although having multiple tools besides her FOR cuticles. She was quite aggressive with me and I found this surprising as this was my first time EVER getting acrylics. I got almond shaped nails and her response for the length was because “making them longer is the only way to get that almond shape” although I showed her my desired length that people have done with the acrylic and the same style. She also messed up on the color I chose, did the wrong length and was just full of excuses. The lady who repainted my nails was kind, was surprised by my bleeding cuticles and apparently you are supposed to hold a cotton ball with acetone to the bleeding cuticle while the young woman using the drill was just drilling through the blood. I’ve had these nails on for 2 weeks now, and from a distance they look cute but held up in light you can see the sheer color, the sides are not buffed and they are too long for my taste. They also charged me $25 for them to be repainted after the young woman made the mistake. I kept asking her about the color and she said she was doing clear, denied that I chose a completely different color and I kept making comments on the length and color as nicely as possible. So glad I had my friend with me for support and she witnessed this entirely also.
