I found this gem about 3 months ago and I’ve never looked back. It’s hidden in a small community in Kentlands in Gaithersburg and I almost got lost finding it the first time. Yet, since I’ve found it, my nails have thrived. The staff are patient, kind and do a really great job. The place is clean and pretty. There are so many options for nail colors and they also do beautiful designs. I love my nails, their new shape, I feel like a new woman!! And the best thing is that my nails have not broken since I’ve gone there. They used to always break. I’m not sure what they are doing differently at Tara Nails but my nails are truly thriving! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis place is amazing! It’s very clean and the staff is very friendly. The quality of their work is beyond amazing!! My nails grow extremely fast and I’ve always struggled with the grow-out getting caught in my hair or on things and/or chipping -even with dip powder! I usually up only having the nice expensive manicures last me 8-10 days maximum. After my dip powder manicure, with tips, my nails still look great on day 15!!! AND I was hard on my nails because I packed and moved an entire apartment without a single chip, crack, or breakage. This is the first set I’ve had in my 10+ years of manicures that have lasted me more than 2 weeks. My nails have grown out, but I have yet to have any issues with the growth getting stuck in my hair or caught on anything. The attention and care Vary put into my nails was above and beyond. I cannot express how glad I am to have found this place. I can’t possibly say enough good things about this salon. My nails were very short and brittle when I first came here and I had given up on them and just kept getting acrylics. When I called they said they didn’t do acrylics but could do dipping powder with the tips. They then explained that it was healthier for my nails and would help them grow. I’ve heard this from techs before so I didn’t really believe it. But OMG!!! This is my fourth time coming here and my nails have grown so much that I don’t need to use the tips anymore!! They’re actually the length I would get my tips to and they’re strong and healthy! I’m still in disbelief every time I look down at my nails! Like wow!! So thankful for this place and highly recommend!!

I was immediately put at ease, there was a large choice of relaxing pedicures and my experience was perfect! The lavender spa pedicure was aromatherapy, massage and a pedicure wrapped up in one. They had a wide variety of colors to choose from. Vary did my nails for me and they came out looking beautiful! It’s been two weeks since I’ve gotten them done and my nails are as perfect as the first day. I also got my eyebrows and underarms waxed, it was very quick and easy!Inside was very clean and masks were worn the entire time. There’s a shield at the table as well, with space to put your hands underneath.Very easy place to find and parking is right around the corner.
