Erik is the best! Prices are reasonable (you get what you pay for, but they don’t gouge you) and everyone is so upbeat, friendly, and positive! No one pressures you to buy product, which is huge for me, but they’re knowledgeable when you have questions about literally anything about hair and products. Erik in particular is super easy going about my introverted need to just relax and be quiet when I’m getting my hair done. Honestly, Tangles is the only salon I’ve felt comfortable going to again and again!

Just got my hair cut and had a lowlight put in, it was definitely one of my best cuts and coloring I had. I loved how Cassandra worked with my hair. She very easy to talk to and listened to my concerns. I will be honest there was a small shock that came with the bill, but i do highly recommend this place. I decided I’m worth the little extra.

There is beautiful calligraphy with a wonderful positive saying on it with beautiful artwork all around it. I also appreciate the Operation Christmas child boxes in the lobby as well. It’s so neat that they care about other causes other than just their business. I also really enjoyed getting my haircut and washed by lindsay. I have not had such a great haircut in years. No one really know how to do my bangs but Lindsay really pulled it off. She was even willing to offer advice about how to style my hair. The first time I went for short haircut, they cut it wrong. Second time I went,they didn’t know how to lighten my hair because my hair is black but they state everywhere that “they are hair color specialists”. Will not go there ever again!!! False advertisement!!!!!!! Haircut, Hair coloring

I don’t know how this place has a 5 star rating, because my experience wasn’t that good. I have thin-medium length curly hair and it was my first time going here. The place is very nice decorated and everyone is very welcoming. The products they use are good, smell very nice and left my hair a little soft, but even after all of these, the hair stylist wasn’t able to work well with my hair. My hair ended up puffy, still curly and with no style at all. She trim my hair wet and then dried again for better style, but the dry wasn’t professional at all, because at the front I still have my curls and I wasn’t able to see my layers as I asked. I didn’t feel she pulled my hair good enough to get it straight and I’m not a certified hair stylist but honestly, I straight my hair a lot better and it last me at least 5 days. I regret paying for a service that wasn’t exactly what I asked for and for been the first time there, it’s really disappointing. I didn’t even mine to pay $100 or more to get my hair done, because even with the bad service, I tipped the stylist for trimming my hair and taking the time, but I really wanted to pay and get it right and look more beautiful. Awful. I really think that if this place doesn’t know how to work with thin, curly and corse hair, they shouldn’t have 5 star rating. My honest opinion. I didn’t want to put a picture, because I didn’t like the way it looks, but I went in with a family member waiting for me and saw everything. I even let the staff know about my disappointment through a phone call right away I left, because I didn’t want to embarrass the stylist in front of everyone.

I visited Tangles last night as a first time customer and had a great experience! My hairstylist Kelly was so very sweet and very talented. I tried to cut my own bangs and it was a bad move. Probably the worst thing I’ve ever done to my hair but thankfully she fixed me up and made so I can reenter society looking like a normal person. Salon is very clean, easy to get to, and has a line of very talented staff you can’t go wrong here!
