Nice place friendly staff it’s a salon maybe suitable only for fine hair. I’m a Latin woman of color who grew up in NYC city around amazing stylist maybe my standards are to high BUT I could of done my own hair wayyy better they dont understand all hair I like my hair to have body and bounce and not be weighed down with product. My hair was literally blown out with fingers and a blower and then flat ironed straight not at a heat degree that will keep my hair straight and silky which I appreciate that she didn’t totally fry it but after paying and spending time in a salon I’d like to have nice hair for a few days I know this limp style will not last

I was in a horrible marriage that left me with thin hair that would never grow from the stress. I was spending 200$ a month on extensions. Trying everything to feel pretty again being very insecure and depleted after divorce. A girlfriend had suggested I try tangles. Upon arriving, I was a little apprehensive when I saw the location. But hey I drove an hour and after trying 3 other salons had nothing to lose. I was immediately greeted by everyone when I walked in. The salon itself was bright and very clean. I was seated in Glorias chair and was asked how I wanted my hair done. I immediately broke down and told her I don’t care please just make me feel pretty again Everyone in the salon made me feel as if I was a friend they have known forever.I talked and laughed the entire time with everyone. Before I knew it Gloria had finished. When I saw the results I cried happy tears, literally speechless and feeling like a new person. My hair is now down to my lower back, full and healthy. I now drive 5 hours to get my hair done by Gloria.

On Saturday morning, the wait was extremely long to trim my hair and bangs. Then I got a simple manicure. I was told that my nails didn’t require a base or top coat because they were using a special polish that supposedly had this stuff already in it. Well, the polish was already chipping the following day. By the 3rd day most of it had chipped off and so I had to remove it. And no I didn’t call because I lived a distance and couldn’t return.
