Ms Tangie is always a blessing! I have been a returning customer for three years now and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. LOVE my braids! I got so many compliments and it’s only been an hour after I left the chair. Ja’Carvis was great and truly a craftsman at feed-ins. Ms. Tangie did my hair a while back with my natural hair but I couldn’t get back to her because of Covid and my newborn. I’m so happy I went back! Everyone is so talented and nice. Even Ms. Daye who was doing a some soft locs while I was there. Highly recommend.

I visited this shop for the very first time on 8/26/2022 and I will say that it will definitely not be my last. I had no idea that such a nice clean shop with a very pleasant atmosphere and “Décor” was so near my home in Litha Springs. Ebony the stylist that did my Crochet Braids was wonderful. She took her time and did just what I requested . Dae the other stylist in the shop from what I observed did outstanding work as well.. The owner Mizz Tangie wow was awesome!!!! l… Beautiful Spirit (Whom I plan to do a road trip with really soon Ha Ha ) I felt very welcomed from the time I entered the shop. You know how you can feel when you go to a shop for the “First Time” well I did not feel that way at all @ Tangie’s I left there feeling and looking “EMPOWERED ” AND “BEAUTIFUL”!!!

The shop owner seems professional, but not the lady she has braiding hair in her shop named Ebony. I walked in one day because my husband suggested it since it wasn’t far from our house. The owner explained to me that I could call a young lady that does braid children’s hair in the shop since she wouldn’t be able to. She gave me Ebony’s card. I Called her and scheduled an appt for my 10 year old for Medium knotless braids. The price was discussed upfront including accessories. She advised me the price was $125 and $5 extra for beads. I would never make an appt with someone without knowing the price upfront. Who does stuff like that? Anyone, my dtr and I arrive on the day of the appt. Ebony kindly asks what my dtr is getting. I reminded her that she was getting the medium knotless and what we discussed over the phone. Ebony then states the Medium knotless are $150. At this point I’m frustrated and thrown completely off. I was not disrespectful but did express to her this wasn’t what was discussed and it was not good business when people change prices at the last minute. I initially decided to stay since I didn’t have anyone last minute to braid my daughter’s hair. We waited for Ebony to prepare the hair. She then makes a big deal about my car being parked inappropriately in front of the shop (FYI..there was a black car parked right in front of me prior to me getting there in a similar spot). Initially, I stated I would move with no problem. She proceeds to ask me “are you okay?” I admitted to her in a respectful way, again, that I was frustrated about the last minute change of prices and that it was not good business practices…something I already advised her of. That’s when I decided to ask her was she okay? She said yes but I could clearly see that she wasn’t. I decided out of the best interest of my dtr that I would not allow her to braid her hair. I didn’t want her to mistreat her because of our misunderstanding, so I left. My suggestion is before you book an appt with Ebony please ensure she confirms the price in writing or via sending confirmation for the booking discussed so that she doesn’t pull on you what she pulled on me.
