I was sold on Tangerines after they offered 1 week of free tanning and at the end of that week I had a decent tan. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They offer specials every month on tanning packages that are already affordable and the prices are competitive with other salons in the area. The beds are more modern than any of the other salons in the area and both salons are spotless. I’ve tanned at both locations and I can’t think of a single visit that I could complain about.

I purchased a special offer on Black Friday and was NOT told there wasn’t a refund on the purchase , it was done over the phone and the employee did NOT tell me no refunds. Well the next month I had to move 2 hours away and the owner refuses to give me a refund. I own a small business and exceptions can be made with unseen circumstances. Also the staff is somewhat friendly when you are there but if they see you out in public they are very snotty and don’t even acknowledge you when you know they know who you are. I would not want anyone representing my business that wasn’t polite to my staff in or out of the establishment. Very poor owners and staff I would not recommend them to anyone!! The beds are good but I’m sure there is other locations that give you better service and treat you nicer.

I NEVER leave reviews, especially bad ones, because I prefer to resolve any issues directly with the business. That being said, I’m so frustrated with my experience at Tangerines in Kathleen tonight that I feel obligated to let other people know what they might be getting into. I’ve had a membership to spray tan with them for over a year, and tonight, I arrived to get a quick spray since I have an event this weekend, and despite the fact that I got there almost 30 minutes prior to when they close, I was told that they had already broken down the machine and I would not be able to spray tan. I understand trying to get as much done as possible prior to closing, but considering that I’ve paid Tangerines almost $900 over the past year, I really would’ve appreciated the courtesy, particularly because it takes all of 5 minutes for me to spray tan. I cancelled my membership today and hopefully, I’ll find a salon where I feel valued.
