Prices are affordable and I like that there is hardly ever anyone there. Plus they are a hair salon as well. The only complaint I have is about their business hours. I wish they didn’t close so early every night.

Very nice place. Beds, depending on which you use are good to just okay. Some of the fans really are awful in some of the beds. Room number 5 which is level 4 has the best fan I think and works well in tanning. Staff is friendly and welcoming. No doubt though, this place is expensive in comparison to others. Even getting the discount for belonging to Wilson’s, it is still expensive for credits and if you go 3 times a week, it will easily cost $50 minimum and that was purchasing 500 credits for $75. A 12 minute session in level 4 bed cost 60 credits each time if I recall. I may have the numbers wrong but I know I go 3 times a week and i had to re-up, purchasing more credits after 6 weeks. I really like Tan Rio but it is to expensive for regular goers. Better off joining Planet Fitness and get unlimited sessions for $21 a month if you are on a budget. Otherwise if that is not the case, I would certainly and highly suggest Tan Rio.

Very friendly. However. Very few staff, sometimes no one at the register counter. Website could use a lot of updating. Staff needs more sales training. “Do you need tanning lotion?” And “Do you need tanning goggles?” … Clean place. Should consider lowering the price to get more customers.

Critical: Quality, ValueI got my hair done here in September and I wanted light bluish grey and she turned my hair BRIGHT GREEN. The stylist was getting tips from the another lady there in the middle of doing someone else’s hair. The woman doing my hair was constantly on her phone and took three phone calls while putting trying frantically to fix her mistake. while my hair was coloring she even gave a haircut to a man while I was sitting there. She tried her best to fix it, I will give her that, but I ended up being there for five hours and left with bright orange roots and sort of the color I wanted but it washed out the next week. I had a spray tan at 1:30 on Friday and I had a friend that spray tanned a little bit after me we went on the float trip the next day mine came out all splotchy hers came out beautiful called on Monday to let them know to ask if I could possibly get a touchup spray or re-spray and they said no because it was three days after the spray I would not recommend them they’ve had horrible reviews.

Today was my first time at tan Rio… and it was wonderful! The front desk girl was very polite , she picked a great bed for me I came out with noticeable color difference and she picked a great lotion . It is a very clean facility and it was just a over all good experience! ! That is definitely where I will continue to tan !

Had an appointment for an airbrush tan. Went in 15 minutes before my appointment and the front desk told me they don’t have what they need to do it. Did not call, email, or try to contact me before the appointment to let me know they need to cancel, so needless to say I am not happy. They ask for 12 hours notice if you need to reschedule but can’t extend the same courtesy or respect to their customers.

I always love the service I get here. I just got an awesome spray tan from Molly and she was so knowledgeable and sweet. Sometimes personal spray tans are awkward but she talked to me normally and I always feel so comfortable. Thank you guys!!

Great service, offer a variety of tanning beds plus salon services. They keep their hours the same and the tanning lotion isnt outrageously priced like other salons.
