Horrible service! Old, dirty beds that are never cleanly and EVERY bed has bulbs out.. I pay 70$ a month and it’s been the worst tan republic I’ve ever been to in the past decade that I’ve been a repeat customer.

I recently started tanning to help increase my Vitamin D levels. And have had great experiences in Salem. Each time I’ve gone to a new location the person working has offered to show me around since it was my first time there. Such as where is the bathroom, buttons for the beds and fans. Yesterday was my first time going to this location I mentioned it was my first time. I went to the room she told me to go to and didn’t know the start button is an unmarked button on the wall next to the door. I went back up to the front desk to ask how to start the bed. She was still behind the desk but now with her mask off, speaking to whomever walked in behind me. I don’t care if it was a friend, co-worker, or customer. We’re all supposed to be wearing masks.

Can I just say how impressed I am with this location!?! Canby Tan Republic has the sweetest (and prettiest) gals working for them and they always make it such a pleasant experience. It’s my favorite little get away. Also, the owner is so gracious!! During the COVID shutdown not only did he make sure my account wasn’t charged for services that I wasn’t using (because they were closed) then but also after they opened and I couldn’t afford my bill because I wasn’t working. What an honorable business owner! I’m so happy I found this place, it’s not just the tan that builds you up here!

New owner Would Not honor my August cancellation. Charged me for September and would not Refund. Will let me use services until the end of October. I would not have canceled back in August for a service I was not using just to be charged again. NOT a great way to start a unnotified Switch of ownership. I call Fraudulent Charges as they are still catching up on the cancellations. I have lost All trust in this company.

I definitely recommend this location over the rest. Kendal is the best, she is so helpful and knows the most about every type of lotion there is and how long to tan for! I don’t spray tan much but when I did she know exactly which one I should do so that I came out the perfect color and not too dark. She is overall the only reason I go to Canby ♀️

Staff is absolutely amazing. Hannah helped answer so many questions, was very knowledgeable, and super friendly. The salon is always very clean, they have plenty of really great beds and a nice variety of packages to choose from. Definitely would recommend to new tanners, special occasion tanners, or regular seasoned tanners. The super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff more than anything is what I feel sets this tanning salon at such a high rank for me and worthy of 5 stars.
