I did purchase a membership. The staff was very knowledgeable about tanning lotions. The professionalism along with the cleanliness and keeping the place sanitized was a five-star experience . I absolutely fell in love with that number 10 . My skin felt renewed and I actually had a glow when I left. I’ve had the membership for over a month and I absolutely miss that number 10 . This location was the best . I travel on business, from east coast to the west . When I stayed in Algonquin. I did purchase a membership. The staff was very knowledgeable about tanning lotions. My tan always looks natural, even (not blotchy), and lasts me about a week and a half to two weeks. The facility is clean and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!Service: Tanning

I was using this tanning salon 2 years ago for 2 weeks before going on vacation. I had zero tanning. I gave another shot to this place this year and the same poor result. I was using different place before and I could see result after couple visit. It’s not true what I was told by the owner that taking long time before you see a results. The other places don’t have this problem. It’s wasting of money paying over $50 for one week. The other thing when I’m going to tanning salon I don’t want to see old purses, shoe and other used things for sale. And for the owners when you sitting behind the desk please use the face mask for your and customers safety.

They would give me backhanded insults almost every time I would come in for no reason at all as I was always respectful to them and their staff. They are not good people and I think that they shouldn’t be allowed to be franchisees. Tan 9.99 should be more cautious about who they allow to represent them in business. They also try and sell you furniture and other things in the salon that have nothing to do with tanning. Owner(s) are both rude people. They would give me backhanded insults almost every time I would come in for no reason at all as I was always respectful to them and their staff. They are not good people and I think that they shouldn’t be allowed to be franchisees. Tan 9.99 should be more cautious about who they allow to represent them in business. Since owners/management changed at the end of Summer 2018 the new owners have done a fabulous job. They have made the salon very cozy spa-like, are always willing to go the extra mile in customer service and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! They’re truly the best for their clients! I’ve had a membership for many years. The new owners are wonderful and always friendly. The salon is immaculate and the new décor is warm and cozy. The prices are very reasonable and more affordable than the bigger chain salons. You won’t be disappointed!

Honestly I never write reviews, but I have never had such a terrible customer service experience. In the middle of my membership, I asked to upgrade for the rest of the month and was told by the owner that I would be able to. I paid for the upgrade. When I went back a week later, I was told that I only paid to upgrade for a week. Despite asking multiple times if the owner could honor the month commitment that she had promised, I was told that it would not be possible. She said she did not remember the conversation, but that she could only go on what was in the computer. When I tried to continue the conversation, I was told that she had other customers to help and that I would either have to pay or leave. It was a super frustrating experience. Despite a request for a refund I was denied. Like I said, I never write negative reviews, but I wanted to make sure that no one else had the same experience I did.
