I have not had my nails done in a very long time and decided to go back to a shop I had used in the past. It was a great experience! Critical: ProfessionalismJust left Tammy nail and am HIGHLY disappointed. The woman who did my nails which is the owner aka Tammy, made a fuss when I asked her to cut them down, the first time she huffed and puffed. The 2nd time she made rude comments, and slapped my hand. And the 3rd time she cut them down way to short, and went around talking to the other employees saying “cut cut cut” while pointing at me. I only asked her to cut them 3 times, because when she would cut them it would be little pieces. The shape is awful and not what I asked for. She cut me multiple times, and got alcohol all over my fingers. I now have scratches and burns. Do not go here. Worst experience ever! I am not the type to leave reviews because I let stuff go pretty easily and I try to be understanding.. I usually go to Dream Nail bar. Have for years! Danny is great. I couldn’t go to my last appointment because my dad passed away. I always schedule 2 weeks out so with the circumstances I missed my appointment and couldn’t get in with Danny until next week. So I go for a acrylic fill and gel I showed her the picture of how I wanted them cut and shaped (I never have to tell Danny because he knows what I like. So I did pull up a picture for reference) the lady said okay and when she started to do the fill she did not cut them down at all! I said I would like them shorter please and immediately she gets defensive saying she can’t do that they’ll be too short and so on and I told her they wouldn’t be too short I get them cut to the same length every single time and I have for years now? Then the guy beside her maybe her husband? Starts going off on me saying that she couldn’t do it I said okay that’s fine then it’s just my regular nail guy does them every time he starts going off saying for me to leave and just go there to him and said “why didn’t you go to him today” I told him that he was booked and I really needed a fill. Meanwhile the wife is sitting there just starting at me and they start talking about me telling me to go there. Keep in mind I have never been here before, and I will never return. Danny got my business years ago when my former nail tech didn’t have an opening and he treated me so kind, like he had known me for years, and did exactly what I wanted. Just like he always does! I should’ve known better than to go to anyone else but him but I really needed a fill in and Danny stays so booked because he is the best!! So just know how terrible you made me feel today and that if anyone ever asks what I have to say about this place that it is nothing good!

I’ve been here 2-3 times because I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, however I’ve had a bad experience every time. The last time I had a pedicure, the daughter scrubbed the top of my toenail down so much with a file that I ended up getting an infection and had to have it treated because my nail was so thin. Last time I had shellac on my nails, the daughter started and then just left half way through so the owner, Tammy, finished and never spoke a word to me. I just had to keep stopping her to tell her what colors I wanted. After that I just wanted a polish change on my toes, she put the polish on so thick and was in such a hurry that there was literally polish running down the side of my toes and I had to tell her. She tried to wipe it off with her fingers and smudged my toenail and said that better? And I said no, there’s too much polish, its just in a glob. She was so rude and hateful. Getting my nails done is my rare self care treatment and it’s nice to have a relaxing experience, that hasn’t happened here any of the times I’ve been.

I was referred to Tammy nails by several people. It was a clean shop and the husband was very nice and removed my polish then gave me to Tammy his wife to finish my nails. When she was doing my nails another customer started a conversation with me and my head was turned so Tammy cut me on my finger with the drill, I cried out in pain and she said you’re not relaxing and then cut me again with the drill. My finger didn’t heal for two weeks and was painful. Tammy is a hateful older woman. I paid and still gave a tip since her husband had also worked on my nails. Don’t go to this shop
