2nd pedicure at this business in six years. Think the 1st visit was better than the 2nd. Agree the staff is very impersonal. Thankful a regular sat next to me but even her knowing she had to question her services like to add blue stuff in water, use lotion, shape her toes correctly etc it was kind of sad and pathetic to see the customer drive the workflow that should be ingrained in them as this is what they do for a living. Publix stopped in to ask the local businesses to support The Special Olympics and they opted not to saying “we don’t do gift cards” and we have Google review. Hints why I’m doing this review now. Likely won’t be back service was subpar but got the job done. My toenails don’t look as ruff as they did going in but I could have had a more relaxing experience elsewhere for the same price.

Critical: QualityGot acrylics put on the day before yesterday. Today i noticed the thumb nail was separated from the nail bed. I haven’t done anything to make that happen. Went in to get it fixed bc i thought acrylics were supposed to last more than 2 days. Their solution to fix it was to clip my actual nail down all the way and file it. That did absolutely nothing to fix the gap between my nail and the acrylic nail. They should have just removed the nail and redone it but they did not. I never post reviews, but my experience was awful and I just have to let people know what they are getting themselves into. Like other reviewers said, the staff was impersonal, but I prefer not to chat so that was okay with me. I went for acrylic removal and gel polish on my natural nails. The tech sat me at a booth about 5-10 minutes after I arrived. I didn’t have an appointment, so that was quick. She started by using a nail drill to remove some of the acrylic. A few times she held the drill in the same spot for too long and I felt my nail bed burning. I’m not one to complain, so I didn’t say anything but one time the pain caught me off guard and I flinched. After that she was more careful – at least for a little bit. Once she finished taking a thin layer off each nail she brought out a couple sandwich bags, filled them with about 2 tablespoons of nail polish remover, had me put my hands into the bags and tied them at my wrists. I bent my fingers so the acrylic was in the solution but she repositioned my hands to sit flat on the table. So my palms were in the solution, but not the nails. She left me like that for a bit, checked my nails, tried to scrape them but the acrylic was still hard, used the nail drill again, burned me again, then tied my hands back into the plastic bags. The tech upsold me on an eyebrow wax, so while my hands were in the baggies she asked me to go back for the brow wax. I asked if she was sure I should go back there with my hands in bags – she insisted. She waxed my eyebrows, but never showed me a mirror to see how they looked. I should have asked, but my introverted self stayed quiet. We went back to the nail booth. She removed my hands from the bags, acrylic was still hard, she drilled my nails again, burned me again, then put my hands back into the bags. We did this 2 more times. I was convinced she was going to drill through my natural nails to my nail bed. She didn’t, but my nails were sore from the number of times I was burned by the drill. She did not ask how I wanted my nails shaped or how long I wanted them. I tried to tell her what I wanted, but she did her own thing. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon, and I will absolutely never return here.

Eh, Staff was very impersonal. The tech Removed my toenail polish with a round sander thing..no nail polish remover. When the tech was done with me, she put toe separators on me and walked away to tend to another patron. I sat there guessing if I was supposed to put my flip-flops on and walk to the nail dryer but there wasn’t one that I could see. Finally, after several minutes of waiting and her not acknowledging me, I put my flip-flops on being very careful not to touch my toenails and proceeded to the front to pay. While I was paying, she all of a sudden acknowledged me.

My first time was a great service with nail tech name Hannah, she is really good in her craft but my second visit, she had a client so an older man did my pedicure and I was not happy,, I knew he did hos best but my pedicure was not done right. I hate to waste my money and time so from now on i will make appt with the nailtech thatvI believed will give me great service.
