I had MOHS surgery for removal of skin cancer. Because of pre-existing health issues, I healed slowly. I cannot praise Dr Kwon enough – and all the staff I encountered – for the care and caring they showed me, despite my longer than expected course of treatment. I was a loyal patient since 2016 and it deeply saddens me to move my healthcare elsewhere. I was seeing Dr. Kwon, who is wonderful, but with change in her schedule I had to see Dr. Tamjidi. Dr. Tamjidi claimed to do procedure on me that I did not know was “surgery”. There was no informed consent given or obtained. I, of course, trusted the doctor to examine me not perform surgery without explaining benefits & risks. I received a crazy bill for “acne surgery” when I just came in for an annual exam. I called their office three times and they said they’d call back with an answer and they never did. I called a month later (today) and spoke to their manager Taj. I’ve seen the negative reviews at Tamjidi office are about Taj Hasan and they are all 100% true.

I had a great experience at Tamjidi Skin Institute today. Check in process was flawless and I felt very safe at the waiting room even though the practice is busy. After waiting less than 5 minutes I was called in to exam room. Dr. Tamjidi explained all options to treat skin discoloration and moles that have developed around my back area. She was very kind and answered all my concerns. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and family.

I came here several months ago to inquire about treatments to even out skin tone, and had what I thought was an okay visit. Saw the physician’s assistant, who was very nice, but was disappointed that they just suggested a plain ol’ retinol (which made me break out), and microneedling. Barely needed to see a dermatologist for that kind of advice. They didn’t have any of the lasers that I asked about. So, it was kind of a waste of time and I was disappointed they didn’t have any advanced tools, but oh well, this is DC, after all, not NYC. They told me they’d bill me for the copay.

Beautiful new office that is very spacious. Extremely polite front desk staff and medical assistants. The providers are all extremely knowledgable and take their time making you feel like you’re their only patient all day. Overall an incredible dermatology practice. I would absolutely recommend.
