Brielle is really good at what she does. I go in and tell her a bit about what I want, and she cuts and colors my hair to perfection. It looks good until I come back 7-8 weeks later, and I always get many compliments. I also really appreciate that she uses organic/non-toxic products! I showed a picture to my stylist and did not get results that resembled that photo whatsoever. I wanted a brunette balayage and came out blonde with 15+ tones in my hair ranging from copper orange to grey white blonde. I was charged an extra $150 on top of the groupon I bought, $60 of which was for the “length of my hair”, even though my hair was only down to my armpits and they cut 3.5 inches off before they even started using product, so they charged that much for having hair 1 inch past your shoulders. When I asked about the price breakdown they could not explain why I was charged that much. I was able to schedule a redo to try to get my hair more similar to the picture I had brought the first time, but I specifically scheduled with the owner who told me she would be the one to take care of me. Then I got a notification that my appointment was switched to the same stylist I had the first time who messed up my hair. When I contacted the owner and asked why I was switched and requested someone different she said she had a full book but would be there to help my stylist. Well the owner didn’t even acknowledge me the whole time I was there, let alone help fix my hair. After another 3+ hours at the salon, I came out looking nothing like the photo again. I will never go back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Terrible results and horrible customer service.

Brielle looked at the photo I brought and was like “I love it, I’m gonna do it a little different” and honestly this is the best cut I’ve ever had. Brielle did a great job on my cut and color. She works fast and I like the earthy vibe of the salon. Left a star off because she does not wear a mask and that was not communicated ahead of time. If this is not a deal breaker for you I would recommend!

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityJust had the most terrible experience at Tamed Hair Salon. I walked in and waited a bit for someone to realize I was there for an appointment. There were 2 workers there and neither one had a mask on. When I asked if they wear masks she said no and I should’ve read that on the website. I said well it’s a Pennsylvania law so I figured workers would wear them. She said “well I’m not sick and I’m not wearing a mask.” Due to personal reasons I told her I wasn’t going to stay then. She told me I should’ve seen it on the website and now I’m “wasting her time.” Told her I wanted my money back and she said I could “deal with Groupon on my own bc she’s not Groupon.” I’ve never dealt with anyone so rude and disrespectful to a customer before in my life.In response to the owner’s comments -1) I never missed an appointment, so I’m not sure what $50 fee you are referring to2) No, I didn’t read the fine print on a hair appointment “contract”. Silly of me to think that in the middle of a pandemic with mandates around masks that your salon would ignore them.3) No matter what your stance on masks are, the way you speak to customers is terrible, and I’m clearly not the only one that thinks that based on other reviews.
