Updating my review because WOW Tame seriously went beyond my wildest expectations. I had gotten a balayage and haircut with one of their fantastic stylists Dottie last week, and while I was obsessed with the color work, the haircut wasn’t what I had envisioned. We truly just had a miscommunication of verbage for what I was wanting and it left me feeling pretty sad about the cut (again, Dottie is insanely talented and I will absolutely go back to her in a heartbeat, we just had a miscommunication!) But my goodness Niki, Dottie, and the Tame team went seriously above and beyond at making me feel valued as a customer. Niki personally called me and clearly cared deeply about my experience as a client, and asked if I would come in this week so that she could take a look and see if there was anything that could be done. When I got there this afternoon, I was pretty nervous as I had never complained about a cut or anything before and just don’t want to put anyone out in situations like this, but oh my goodness immediately Niki made me feel so great about everything. She was so kind, explained everything to me as she was doing it, and Dottie even came over in the middle of her day to make sure she knew what the worry had been and apologized for the issue. I don’t want to specifically say what they did to remedy the situation since I know there are crazies out there who will try to use this review as ‘proof’ to get stuff LOL but trust me when I say they went truly above and beyond to fix the situation for me. I went in expecting that they wouldn’t be able to fix the cut but maybe would offer a few dollars off a future service or something, but they really went far beyond what I could have ever imagined, I got in the car and cried at how relieved and happy I felt. I feel extremely confident and happy now in my own skin again which is such an insane feeling compared to how I felt after the first cut, and I could not feel so good without Niki’s wonderful remedy for the cut and Dottie’s incredible coloring. This is a salon that really knows what they are doing, and really values the people that come through their door. They make you feel like you belong in their chair and will no doubt leave you feeling beautiful at the end of the day. Wonderful people doing wonderful work, truly would recommend Tame to anyone. I already have a follow up scheduled with Dottie for color, and I am already looking forward to going back. I would recommend this salon, especially Niki and Dottie, to anyone!

Very disappointed with my color because it only lasted less then two weeks and the gray started coming thru! Explained I wanted something to hide the gray! Went with Niki’s suggestion and let her color my hair all blond. Niki was on vacation when called and talked with another stylist and made appt. and I went back in. I explained I was in the salon less than two weeks ago and my gray was showing thru really bad. Said could fix it but would have to charge me. I had already paid $150.00 plus a $25.00 tip. Then I got a text from Niki scolding me saying she got a text and was not very happy about it. I am very disappointed with salon. Did not offer discount or anything I went to a local salon and was only charged $60.00 for a cut, high light and color. This service has lasted over a month without any gray showing thru!! I will not be back to Niki’s salon.

Wow! What a terrible salon. They ruined my girlfriends hair and offered her NO SOLUTIONS, no money back, nothing other than you have to deal with it! Put in hair extensions with the effort of a 4 year old gluing hair onto a Barbie. Wouldn’t have my worst enemy go here! And I will be telling everybody I know exactly about our experience here and lack of care, understanding, and professionalism.

Nikki did an AMAZING job on my hair! I love the atmosphere here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I hadn’t had a haircut in over a year after a bad experience and Nikki basically restored my faith in getting my long hair trimmed. Definitely going back!
