I had an awesome experience at this salon!! Niki was my hair stylist, she did a phenomenal job!! I got a cut and color. I was a little nervous at first because I was trying out something new but she definitely blew me away!! Best hair stylist I’ve ever had!! My daughter and I both had our hair done at tease. and both had a wonderful time. In fact, my daughter has requested to go back multiple times. I enjoyed the feel in the store, the staff was all very friendly and helpful, and the glass of bubbly was a fun touch. (lemonade for my young daughter) My hair held the style very well even in the heat of summer. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a fun look or for a special occasion. I wasn’t sure how my young child would do but the staff made it fun for her too. Great place!

I was hesitant to come here because of the mixed reviews, especially with how they treat Groupon customers, but let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised 🙂 I made sure to read all the reviews and saw which names popped up positively, so I asked for Ashley since Nikki was booked. Ashley was nice, with a quiet personality, and most importantly she listened to me, and didn’t treat me like an idiot. She did everything I asked exactly as I asked for it! She took her time and made sure I was happy with everything. It ended up perfect to me! I had brought my daughter, and when a song came on with explicit lyrics, Ashley asked them to change the channel, even though I didn’t mind or mention it. That was an extra sensitive touch, I thought. I’ve never been so satisfied with a haircut AND customer service in my life. I’ve never been tempted to come back to the same place more than once, but this stylist changed that for me 🙂 I would love to come back here, and I would recommend her services to anyone. If you go to Tame, ask for Ashley 🙂 She’s awesome!!

I went there for the first time today to get my hair done for graduation. The place is nice and easy to find. It was clean inside but I wish they didn’t use white chairs because white gets dirty so easily and you can see hair dye and stuff on the chairs. Also, although there were several seats open they put another customer in the chair next to mine. This normally wouldn’t bother me but we were so close that our feet were bumping into each other when they swiveled the chairs! Awkward! Besides that I had an enjoyable time. Everyone was nice, the hair wash was relaxing, and I love how my hair looks. Overall, I would recommend it.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tame. I booked a hair and makeup trial for my upcoming wedding, but I will not be going back on my actual wedding day. I arrived at 9:50, ten minutes before my appointment, and the store was locked and the lights were off, even though they open at 9:00. The woman with whom my appointment was booked arrived at exactly 10:00 without comment. Once she settled in and the appointment began, things didn’t improve. I was not happy with my makeup. I asked for natural looking eye makeup, but what I received was much too dark, much to heavy, and very dark red.

Awful experience!! My friends and I went into Tame to get blowouts on Saturday before a wedding that afternoon. The lady doing my hair didn’t use a round brush the whole time she dried my hair and just shook my hair around making it a frizzy mess. She then proceeded to try curl my hair before it was completely dry. She also had to stop halfway through to wash out another employees color in her hair. While she was gone, she let a lady that was there to set up her spray tan business continue to curl my hair. She said “you just wrap the hair around the curling iron and hold until it gets warm.” Who lets someone who has never curled/done someone else’s hair experiment on a client who had an event to go through afterwards?! Needless to say all 3 of us had to go home and rewash our hair before the wedding because there was no way to recover the damage. Absolutely will never recommend Tame to anyone!! I wish I could give 0 stars!

I had such a great experience at tease! I’ve been to other dry bars (Atlanta, NYC) & my hair style was just “okay” and it fell almost immediately. Not at tease in Athens. My hair looks great & it held through the next day! I’ve already booked an appointment for football season & my girlfriends are doing the same. Highly recommend!

The ladies at tame. were so nice and helpful! I was early for my appointment and they started on me as soon as I arrived, so I didn’t have to wait. Ashley did a great job on my hair and made me feel beautiful for my formal event. I am very satisfied, and will definitely recommend tame. to my friends!
