Not being from around the area, I was weary to try a new place for a haircut. Went with it based on the amazing online reviews. And boy were they spot on! Excellent experience all around. Easy convenient way to make an appointment (I was lucky to get in the same day because of a cancellation). John was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable and wanted to get the haircut exactly like I want it. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Chill music. Beautiful vibe. Got compliments on the haircut all weekend long.. even from my mother in law. Recommended for sure!

I am a happy customer of Talking Heads Barber Shop for over 7 years and counting. They are my absolute go to place. I’ve spent my whole life going to many different salons and barber shops and was never fully satisfied with the results. I have difficult thick hair to cut, one wrong move and my hair looks noticeably uneven. It got to a point that I would just ask for a buzz cut, or buzzed it myself at home because it was easier with less frustration. This all changed when I decided to stop in Talking Heads 7 years ago when they first opened up in Asbury. My barber John was able to meticulously shape my hair in away that gave me the ability to let it grow out. Ever since that day, I never buzzed my hair again and refuse to. Not only do they offer skilled haircuts, beard trims, and shape ups, but the energy and vibe at their location is a great pick me up. Especially at their new location. Plus the music playlists there always varies and is enjoyable, there has been many times I had to ask my barber “What band is this?”. Like many agree, Talking Heads is just a whole vibe. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a quality haircut that they can be proud of in a great environment. Thank you to all the barbers there whom I’ve gotten to know personally over the years! I feel that I am growing up with them all and it’s been an awesome ride.

Hands down best barbers in town. Skilled craftsmen; reasonably priced; offering not just a barbershop—a community. Andrew is my go-to barbs but have had others there pinch hit. You can’t go wrong as each one brings their A-game to clean you up. Book in advance…you’ll be glad you did.

My first time there. Heard so much about the place that I had to try it out. John was my Barber gave him carte blanche on the cut. We had interesting conversation while he was cutting. Everyone there seem so pleasnt and my cut was awesome!! so tight and it did not fall short ( never looked like this before ) I guess I have a new barber. The rumors are true. “It’s the best place to get your haircut.” They were not lying. Thanks John!!!
