The Talk of the Town is a new Salon in Kerrville. This elegant salon will offer coffee and wine while you wait, bound to make you feel cozy and right home while you are being pampered. We will have all sorts of specials including senior specials. The Talk of the Town Hair salon will feature two veteran hair stylists, one who has been cutting hair for thirty years. We specialize in colors, perms,Blowdrys, waxing, shampoo and sets. Walk ins and appointments are both welcome. We cannot wait to see you.

We’re here every winter from Wisconsin. I could never find anyone to cut my hair the way I wanted. Drove past Talk of the Town and decided to try there. Wow, not disappointed! Laurie is so sweet and does an awesome job. She listens to what you tell her and knows exactly how to carry it out! Very talented. I totally recommend this salon. This was my first visit to the salon and I loved it! I didn’t have to wait, even though I was early and Laurie knows what she’s doing with long, curly hair. She used great products on my hair and cut it in long layers so it has a lot of bounce. I’ll take her up on the offer of a glass of wine next time…and there will be a next time.

This is my new, go to place for my hair. I love the owner, Laurie. She’s given me the best haircut that I’ve had since living in Kerrville, since living in Texas! Her prices are competitive, but definitely on the low side. She doesn’t rush and truly cares that you leave pleased. What I loved was the atmosphere. It is small & quaint, with only 2 hairdresser/ stylists, so there isn’t a lot of traffic or distractions. It was a pleasant experience all around, and I intend to use Laurie for years to come.
