My husband and I love Jeff and Melissa. Any time we’ve gone to see anyone else (and we only go somewhere else if we make a last minute decision to book and can’t get in to see them), we instantly regret it! He did not use any of the common massage techniques, and did not use appropriate draping techniques either. My girlfriend and I recently went in for a couples massage at Take A Break and found it to be a very relaxing experience. Being my first massage, I decided to try deep tissue and man do they work you over! If it is you are like me and it is your first time, let them know you want to communicate during the massage to help figure out what you like. They are much more likely to give you an A+ first time experience if you give them feedback during the session. The decor was interesting, and you might call it forced, but the facilities were clean and the equipment comfortable. Definitely a good place to go!

I had my first massage (ever) during a birthday trip in Vegas. It was great and I struggled to find one that was just as good when I got back to KC. I went to Take A Break on a Valentines Day special and Melissa was exactly what I was looking for! She’s an awesome masseuse, runs a very pleasant place and being totally honest I never go anywhere else unless I get some sort of gift card because for my earned money she’s worth every penny.
