Got my belly and second hole in both ears done here. I also came with two friends to get piercings with them. Steve is awesome, and everyone here is really nice and makes you laugh. If you can’t handle crude jokes, then don’t come here, but I personally love them. I will definitely be coming back for more piercings and maybe even my first tattoo!! Thank you guys!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had going to a tattoo shop, and I’ve been to a few! My friends and I went and got piercings over the weekend. Henry did our piercings and he was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He did an excellent job helping us decide on the placement and informed us each on the aftercare of our piercings. I honestly felt like he cared and actually took the time to speak with each of us personally! Which was awesome because there were a few people waiting in line, so to be treated like a person and not a dollar sign was very refreshing! I highly recommend Tainted Hearts to anyone looking for a piercing or possibly tattoo. They are very clean and friendly! We also got a chance to look at some artwork done by other artist at this shop and we were impressed at what we seen. My sister and I decided we are going to get our tattoos done here also,we suggest you do to!!!

Everyone was so nice here! I got my piercing done about a month ago, and it is still healing really well (this is a big deal because the last place I went to told me they had hypoallergenic piercings, but I still had an allergic reaction). I love the way it turned out, and will definitely come back here for future piercings!

The tattoo minimum here is $40 and that’s awesome if you’re a college student and on a budget. HOWEVER you’re literally getting what you paid for. The work was good and there really aren’t any complaints in that department. I went with three family members who all got fairly simple tattoos (mainly outlines with slight shading) all of which could be done in 10-20 minutes and the whole ordeal lasted 2 ½ hours. Again, all three look great. The tattooing wasn’t what took 2 ½ hours but rather the vulgar conversation brought by the tattoo artist/owner. The work was often stopped completely for these conversations. At one point he stopped tattooing, went to another artist and proceeded to make fun of a customer that walked in. My cousin had an idea of a simpler tattoo and he told her he wouldn’t do it because it wouldn’t look good and he wanted to add more to it and was very persistent about it. If you can handle feeling uncomfortable during your tattoo okay, but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Steve and Xan, you did tattoos on my son and daughter… You both did an amazing job! I (as their mom) had never seen one be done before! It was a neat experience! Steve you made us laugh alot! Your family owned tattoo place was awesome! Thanks for the beautiful art work and appreciate you making it awesome experience! Everyone we met there was super nice! We will definitely be back!

The tattoo work is solid and beautiful. Also prices are very reasonable. However, the environment isn’t very inviting. I have been here on multiple occasions, have gotten 3 tattoos and had some jewelry changed out. Each time I walk away thinking I won’t be back because of how unprofessional and judgemental the staff is. I have had them talk bad and make fun of about other customers to me. Also, one time I came when they were supposed to open and they opened 20mins late. They said I should have called ahead so they knew to be there. Honestly, if the sign says the shop opens at 12, the doors should open at 12. I used to recommend this place to people and now I am less eager to.

You walk in, and they treat you like part of the family. And each artist is imcredibly talented. I came in during toys for tots, so I got 50% off my tattoo, which was a steal. They all care immensely about each other, and all of their customers. Steve did my tattoo, and it was amazing. Theyre all funny and nice to talk to.

Best place to go in Northern Colorado. Crystal, Xan, and Steve take the time to make sure you get what you want. Very comfortable studio that puts you at easy. Worth ever dime and will do touch ups as needed. Offer tap outs and custom drawings. Flexible to work with you on getting your tattoo done.

Amazing service! Super light hearted environment I felt comfortable talking with everybody there. They fixed a messed up tattoo I already had, they even tattooed over a scar. I couldn’t be happier with how it looks now. Definitely recommend!
