First time visiting Tabitha and it was an excellent experience. Her customer service was on par and consistent with communication, scheduling and even rescheduling. When I arrived she was lovely still. Informed me my stylist would arrive shortly and she did. I cannot remember her name but the stylist did an excellent job on my hair. She was quick and pain free. I was in and out with boxed braids in less than 3 hours. Definitely would recommend. Beautiful experience from start to finish.

Tabitha’s African Hair Braiding saved my weekend. The sweetest and kindest people I have ever met. I called not to far from closing time to see if anyone could do my hair because my original person canceled last min. She took me w/ no hesitation. A sweet woman named Auntie did me a braided ponytail and I have to say that it turned out way better than the style I was gonna get from the lady that canceled on me. The atmosphere in the shop is so relaxing. I enjoyed every min of being there. I will give her shop 5 stars ⭐️ because this one of the best experience’s. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t stumbled across this jewel . I got so many compliments on my hair last night. I recommend this place to every woman looking for a consistent reasonable braiding experience. I won’t ever go anywhere else.

My daughters and I have been going to Tabitha for our braid styles for almost 20 years. Tabitha and the other stylists all do a fantastic job and never disappoint. They are professional and very attentive to the customer’s needs. The shop is extremely clean and always a pleasant environment. I highly recommend this salon! You will not be disappointed!

You’ll probably notice that this is maybe one of the first reviews you’ll see under my name because I normally don’t take the time to write one. But today I’m inclined to do just that after the EXCEPTIONAL service I received at Tabitha Hair Braiding Salon. This is the second time they’ve done my hair and they are now two for two. I didn’t write a review the first time because I wanted to see if their good service was consistent but I did bring my mother back after the first time to get her hair done. As a therapist, observation is what I do and this is what I noticed: 1. Every customer’s hair was done perfectly. No matter who did their hair, each stylist did a very professional job and made everyone look great. 2. From the moment you walked through their doors, they promoted a safe and clean environment. Everyone’s instructed to wash their hands and the stylist wiped down the chairs between customers. 3. The mark of a good business is ‘return customers’ and there were plenty! The shop was very busy but it seemed like the owner and other stylists knew everyone by name, even the those who were actually new to the shop. It had been 5 months since my first visit and they were able to recall small things about me that most would have forgotten because they are attentive to their customers and not their phones. I’ve been with the same stylist for over 18 years and I’ve just started getting braids. I can honestly say that I’ve found the best braiding shop in the south suburbs. Thanks For Such Great Service.

A woman that everyone called Aunty braided my hair. I paid for box braids. She braided the front of my hair longer than the back. This woman gave me a bob. And I asked for medium braids. She used too much hair. Absolutely not satisfied. And she tried to charge me $250. I usually pay $200 at another shop. I only ended up paying aunty $220. But the thought of her trying to charge me $250 for these braids! Never again! Tabitha is the owner she was very polite and professional. The shop was comfortable but I’m not satisfied with my hair. I actually ended up going to another shop to get my front rebraided 2 weeks after I got them. I could only wear the braids in a ponytail the knots were so thick that my hair wouldn’t lay down properly.

Christelle did a awesome job ! 1st time visiting bc my regular was booked on a last minute thing for me (my fault tho) but I found a new back up at #Tabitha hair braiding on markham!
