Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismIn response to a low-star review posted 2 years ago by Star Cat…. I worked at t-spa briefly a few years ago, and everything you say is so true! I will add that the reason they couldn’t keep enough Nail Techs in the Pedicure department back then is because the tech that had been working there for several years would chase all the new techs away. She was very territorial, unfriendly and had NO team work ethic. At least that’s how it was when I worked there with her. She was constantly breaking rules, and got away with it because the Manager at the time was clueless… or ignorant…. or both!! Speaking of the manager at the time, she would reprimand employees for breaking rules, yet with said Nail Tech she made excuses for her… Pffffft! Said Nail Tech once breezed thru a 75 minute pedicure in 25 min, (a $70 or $80 pedi), then rushed out to steal my guest 5 minutes before her appt time, which the Superviser at the time allowed it all to happen, saying she, (said Nail Tech), was entitled to a last minute booking. Pfffft! So it’s ok to breeze through a service; treating the previous Guest with a lame, quick pedi???? Is that what 4 Diamond quality is??? And the Manager at the time did NOTHING about it!. It’s no wonder why they couldn’t keep enough Nail Techs back then…The day I quit, I reached out to HR about these issues and more! By now, I hope things are better for the Employees who worked there at the time; they all were unhappy…UPDATE after Tspa’s response: I was an exceptional employee, and proud to be part of the team while I worked there; one of those “dedicated to providing an excellent”, [first class], “experience” to all Tspa Guests. It’s ashame that THAT part of me was overlooked and unappreciated! Furthermore, since said Nail Tech is still working there, (after many infractions), then Tspa’s statement that they now have new team members is misleading. With that said, I’m willing to bet that nothing, except a new manager, has changed…In response to a low-star review posted 2 years ago by Star Cat….
