Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI got a gel manicure. She hurt me twice while taking off my existing gel polish. So much so that I had to make sure I wasn’t bleeding. The polish doesn’t even come close to being near the edge of my nails. Got to my car and noticed a ridge on the side of one of my nails. Went back in and she said I nicked it. Come on! It’s gel polish correct? Supposed to be dry and hard as a brick when I leave. Hasn’t even been 5hrs and I have two nails that have chipped. Just looked down and they were chipped! I got a gel manicure. She hurt me twice while taking off my existing gel polish. So much so that I had to make sure I wasn’t bleeding. Never going back. I wanted a white medium coffin set, they gave me long square white tips, didn’t even fully cover the nail. They didn’t push my cuticles back before applying the acrylic, had 3 different people doing my nails. Just wish I could get them redone for free and a better set because I had homecoming to go to with these.

One of the young ladies working there was cursing on the phone right next to me. My round tips are fairly square and very crooked. I said no pink on top and she put pink on top. Now, the top of my nails have a lump, they are not smooth. The general steps to doing nails was convoluted. I’m capable of doing my nails at home acrylic or gel, I can say with all certainty, this person did not know what they were doing or did not care.

I just moved to the area and wanted to give them a shot. For one, everytime I’ve gone there, they can never get the prices correct which is odd to me. I paid and was told I owed more because I was given incorrect numbers. Two different times! If you’re getting a pedicure, they definitely give you a spa experience. I spend almost 40 minutes just getting pampered before even applying a color to my toes. After getting a manicure 3 times, I’d have to say this is my last. After everything fully dried I can see where the second coat is not aligned with the first. The gel on a previous set peeled off the next day on 3 nails. French just gone! It’s unfortunate. I really wanted them to work out.

Positive: QualityLet me list the pros and cons to give you a better idea of what to expect as I almost didn’t visit due to the low ratings …..The negatives are that the chairs are very uncomfortable, it is very outdated and is somewhat dirty with a very strong old food smell and there is a huge language barrier that makes it difficult to get across exactly what you want.The positives are that I personally found the lady that was there to be very friendly, my nails turned out amazing, the pricing was fair and they were not over crowded so there was no negligence during my nail time in an attempt to rush to the next person.Overall, it isn’t very professional in atmosphere or experience but they do good work.So, if you care more about the outcome of your nails I’d definitely recommend it. Absolutely horrible service. Alvin and his attitude is unnecessary, the way he thinks he can speak to people while they are the ones paying for the service is implorable.
