I won’t go anywhere else. Formally Laura’s nails, Tina & Kevin opened T&K nails. When I moved to the area I shopped around. I went to probably 8-10 salons & then found them. Conveniently, I live 8 minutes walking distance. I do the dip powder with Tina over my natural nail & it will last me upward of 4 weeks (no breaking, no chipping). They are the best in the area, hands down.

Really disappointed. I went in on Friday and got a full set of acrylic ombré and they were so crooked and outgrown looking by the next day. I already had to wait about 40 minutes after my appointment time to get in there and then I had to ask several times for the man to straighten my nail back out because he was screwing them up. The following day when I noticed how crooked they still are, it was Christmas Eve. So I knew I couldn’t call them because I was in Kevin’s chair when he took a call and told someone that they were closed. I called Tina and asked if she could fix it, she said it was my fault and I should have called the next day. But I couldn’t because they were closed. She didn’t care about that and offered no solution there. Look at my picture here and tell me if ONE DAY after I paid for a full set that they should look like this… it’s terrible! The least Tina could have done was offered to fix it. I told her how thin they were and that they were breaking and she said “no definitely not Kevin doesn’t do thin acrylic”…she didn’t want to hear that they were wrong at all. So that’s fine, they just lost me as a customer.

I have been going to Tina and Kevin and their staff since they have moved to Prospect park! My mom and sister also go there. They are the most friendliest staff, the shop is beautiful, and extremely clean. My schedule is so busy and although I’m sure I drive her crazy, Tina gets me in with no problem every single time! I will never go anywhere else

I have been going to Tina and Kevin’s salon, formerly Laura’s Nails, for over 7 years and have never had any complaints. I was previously a salon hopper, never happy with the same salon after a few months. All of the staff members are welcoming and very accommodating and keep a very clean and organized salon. Tina is always able to get me in even if it means staying a later in the evening or squeezing me in between other appointments. If something happens with my nails or pedicure, they are always happy to fix without complaint. My younger daughter loves to go to see Tina and Kevin for her nails and toes; they always make a fuss over her.
