Was a customer for 19 years. I left once when the lady yelled at me because she blamed me because the gel polish was rolling off my nail…said I must have touched my skin ( I didn’t) gave them another chance and I usually get Tony and have no complaints. Last time I had her, she again raises her voice at me because I asked for shorter nails after she filed them with a file. I even told her I would pay her extra if it was that big of deal. I deal with the no appointment, the 2 hour waits and their inconsistent hours but I won’t deal with her being rude when I am paying her for a service. I will gladly drive 45 minutes from now on.

Not friendly…. Didn’t communicate at all unless it was in Chinese to his wife. Rush job! Nail tips were too small for my nails and placed too high. They look funny and awkward I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. $50 Would be better spent somewhere else where you actually feel welcome and the job is done properly Acrylic nails

I went with my mother 5 days after my father passed away to get her nails done. I thought I would get a pedicure since I can’t walk and it’s very hard to reach my toes. He is a very kind and gentle human and did what I thought was a good job. The next day I woke up with a bloody sick on my right foot and a blister on my left bigg toe. Fast forward 2 months and wound care has been trying to fix the blister but it is very angry as they call it. They are admitting me to the hospital to see if the infection is in the bone and if they need to remove my toe. To say the least it was the worst $65.00 I ever spent

I love the way they do my nails better than anyone, l have been to Richmond and tried all the nail places there and always one breaks or chops. Never had that at tj nails. They are friendly, they tell you if there is going to be a long wait so you are not sitting forever, I don’t go anywhere else unless they are on vacation or something. So go give it a try you will see it’s a good place to go.

Will never go back to this place ever. I went in to sign in for a nails appointment, I asked the lady how long the wait would be, then told me but I couldnt understand her under her mask on… so I politely asked her to repeat and she did but i still couldnt understand what she said. Then she laughed at me because I couldnt understand and was completely rude about it and started talking to the guy in their language laughing at me. Very humiliating and rude. Never liked how they treated me and never did the best with my nails. Wish I could rate -5 stars.

The place is absolutely amazing! My favorite thing is anything I ask them to do, they go above and beyond to try it. Instead of just saying “no we can’t do that here!” I have asked for something and she has mixed colors together, repeatedly put polish on her skin or nails until she gets it right. He also does a great job. Sometimes they are pretty busy but that’s expected with the work they do. You won’t be disappointed!

Live TJ Nails. The man is slightly better in my opinion than the lady. Great place. Nice atmosphere….very clean. Walk ins always, and appointments at times.
