Sweet Feet Foot Care

Positive: ProfessionalismSo I was excited to find someone to address my concerns with a pain/ingrown toe nail and do a decent pedicure. Mona was very nice and funny. A pleasure. But I do have to say a few things. 1st off she had to push my scheduled apt back 30 min she called bout 1 hr before and asked no problem, but she could of told me where to go or how to get in the place. I get there n I had to knock on Doors and ask neighboring store how I get in because the door was locked. I knocked on door and man answered door n looked confused when I asked where sweet feet was lol he then said I think it’s at the end of the hallway lol the building is being remodeled I believe and supplies and everything everywhere. I go down the hall and Mona greeted me. It was dark and relaxing I was excited. But she seemed like she just got there because it is based on apt only. She turned on her loop light and examined my feet giving me info on my arch and issues. Then she took off my gel polish. She recommended different shoes and sales ppl to get the shoes from. Or recommended good feet store. She then filed n trimmed my nails. Soaked them in a wash tub… used a foot file on the bottoms ..heated towels in the microwave and gave a very quick massage on the feet only. She recommended lotions n such I should be using but was out of products to show me or let me buy. She did not polish my toes because she wanted me to use tea tree oli on my toe that was hurting a lil. But she had none to put on it there. And I was done….lol this wasn’t what I expected lol but it wasn’t a bad service because of her knowledge. I booked apt it said 65 for 1st visit w free product or gift. I pd 75 plus tip and got no free product. I kinda feel that the price was high for what she did….. n being that I didn’t get a free product or polish the price should of been adjusted. I left there feeling a lil upset because I had high expectations of this visit and wasn’t blown away w the service. I used to do pedicures so I wanted a pedi like I give and w her knowledge and expertise lol I think she has a great idea here w her business n w her knowledge could make it even better but there is some things lacking. I may try her again because she was nice n friendly. But I do think she needs to step up a few things …. to make it a better more worth it treatment for the money…. this is a great place for older ppl tho …for sure … basic filing trim is great for older ppl w health conditions for sure but when u have a healthy person the pedi should be adjusted to a more pampering service n she would be the best ….I at least expected an up my leg massage lol or longer foot massage. Like I said she is knowledgeable and super nice n friendly ….she can easily talk to ppl. And I see how she can help sick or older ppl w their nail/feet issues, but it’s not what I hoped for .. my man loves my feet and said let me see your toes ….I showed him n he was like u pd 85 for nothing lol I definitely could of done this myself in a foot bath at home … so a lil upsetting … if the massage was longer I probably wouldn’t care as much but I feel like I wasted money n time of my day off n I didn’t feel pampered or relief of my pain in my toe..or feet/legs .if she wanted me to follow a treatment plan of tea tree oil she should of had it there to put on my toes n one for me to buy ….maybe put a clear coat or nourishing top coat on my other toes being that she said they were a bit brittle and one split… I just feel things could of been so much better ….but I tried it and I may go back again to see if it was just a off day or not lol I hope she does not get upset at this review because she was lovely and very smart about feet … just think things could be better especially w her knowledgeSo I was excited to find someone to address my concerns with a pain/ingrown toe nail and do a decent pedicure. Mona is the absolute best! She cares about your feet, your comfort, not to mention your life. She provides a great and clean pedicure, and goes the extra mile to be sure you understand your individual nuances of foot health. Not to mention she is just the sweetest and really cares– when she heard I was getting married- she wouldn’t take no for an answer and sent a congratulations gift for my husband and I and our small family on the wedding day. I truly cherish her!

My experience was very pleasant and I learned a lot about foot care. There is a very clean and friendly environment. I also took my 82 year old friend with me, she was so pleased and happy because she suffers from restless leg syndrome and can’t sleep at night but when she had her pedicure, she also got a foot massage and she said, that night she slept like a baby. Not waking up once. I would definitely recommend visiting Happy Feet!!
