Cindy did my hair. I asked for foils, was told it would come out okay, but it didn’t. Wanted ashy blonde and got orange. She was very nice, but $120 plus tip for brassy and orange/yellow hair after foils is insane.

Fran is an exceptional, well-rounded, beautician. She is so talented as a colorist and is focused on ensuring your hair remains healthy despite any color processing. I started going to her a few years back when my hair was over processed, damaged, and constantly breaking. She saved my hair and constantly delivers a beautiful highlight, balayage, etc. Fran frequently attends industry conferences to stay on top of the latest trends so she is always full of great ideas if you want to try something new/different. I cannot say enough great things about Fran but I will leave you with this – you are in GREAT hands with Fran and she does an awesome cut/style as well!

Cindy does a great job with my hair. It is wavy and straight so she cuts it dry which I appreciate. She takes off the right amount of weight and adds texture to blend the layers. She gives me a cut that grows out well and doesn’t need styling. She also did a great job with my bfs thick straight hair. The precautions during covid made me feel more comfortable. Everyone wore masks, one person enters at a time, they use disposable capes, and they take your temp when you come in. I’m glad they are taking these steps to keep everyone safer. Thanks Cindy!

Fran is an amazing hair stylist and colorist!! She is always staying updated on what new and has a great amount of knowledge. I went to her for just a hair cut a few months ago and she was very helpful so I decided to go to her when my roots started to grow out and I could not be happier with the finished result. I’m so happy I finally found a place and a person I can trust since moving to Stamford almost a year ago! You must ask for Fran she is amazing!!!

My wife always gets terrific haircuts here at a reasonable price . It’s been a go to place for years. Make an appointment to eliminate waiting ! Ask for Helen. Its a few dollars more but worth it. Free parking in the back municipal garage on weekends.

I and my son have been going here for almost 20 years. During this time I can count on one hand when a stylist did not fully meet our expectations. We have found them to be very accommodating and skilled. Now that we have moved out of the area, I sorely miss the convenience and skill of this salon. This place is TERRIBLE. I have never had a more horrifying experience at a salon in my entire life. The stylist I had (Dani) was uneducated to the point of not understanding how to angle and cut hair. I came in for a sew in with extensions and from the beginning she had no idea what she was doing and she also tried to overcharge me for something I didn’t even ask for. I came in, my hair was unbraided and washed. Dani then put in a protein conditioning treatment I never asked for. She then told me it would be an extra 40 for that treatment. I asked her to wash it out seeing as I did not want to pay for something I didn’t ask for. This became a problem and I had to consult her boss who also gave me a hard time. It was finally resolved after 10 minutes of discussion, which was totally unnecessary. Dani then braided my hair in a fashion which I specifically did not ask for. I even showed her a photo of what I wanted. She insisted that what she did would be better and would work in the hairstyle that I wanted. She started to put in the extensions and it literally went down hill from there. Everything was bumpy, sewed in odd manners that were not conducive to the look that I was going for. I pointed out the various things I did not like and she tweaked them but they were never fully corrected. At this point, my appointment was going on 4 hours, which is ridiculous. She continued, and still nothing was done right. A fellow hairstylist had to come over and correct many of the mistakes but at that point, it was still too late to fix most of the damage. The two then began to passively aggressively argue over what was correct and what was not, yanking and pulling on my hair in the process. Two hours later, I was left with uneven hair, uneven braids, and just an overall slapdash job that deserved to not be paid for. My sew-in is so terrible that I am taking it out this evening and going somewhere else tomorrow. Words cannot describe how terrible this place is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
