This place is super cute. The stylists are friendly but I’m very upset. I got my haircut by Lydia on December 23rd. I’ve given it TIME. But I cannot grow to like it at all. I asked for bangs and layers and they are so uneven and awful. I don’t even know how to begin to explain how bad they are. The framing she did on the side of my face just makes my hair look frizzy. She cut the bangs so uneven. Literal long parts in the middle and short ones on the ends. If you can’t do bangs just be up front. This is the worst haircut I’ve ever had and I had such high hopes for this place. I wish I could come back but I’m too afraid. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow out to fix it. My stylist was very nice but even after I showed her pictures she didn’t give me even close to what I asked for. I never speak up because I have autism so it’s hard for me but I usually give haircuts time to settle and I’ll like them eventually but this one is just so misshapen. In my opinion, come here but only if you’re getting an experienced stylist who knows exactly how to do what you want.

I love SWAY, and the owner, Kristen, is a curl whisperer! I drive from the Northland to see her, and I’m happy to do it. Sway is always hopping, but it’s never loud. There’s a chill vibe, and everyone is super friendly. Oh, and they are very LGBT friendly and inclusive as well!

I went to Sadie for about 12 months for highlight/cut. She is very good at her color and pretty good at cuts but her assistant ruins the experience with hair pulling, scalding my scalp and in general grumpy attitude. In addition, Sadie will raise her (already very high) rates without telling you in advance. I will spend my money somewhere where I am welcomed and the atmosphere is more cheerful.

Fast forward 2.5 years later I decided I wanted my hair long and blond and the color looks AMAZING! She also colored and cut my new hair extensions so they would match my hair better.
