Absolutely the worst!!! Came down for my wedding I called this establishment back on February 17th to book an appointment for my hair to be done for September 24th I was told I was scheduled for 11am that Saturday. Called the day before. Absolutely no record for me and they are completely booked. Unacceptable!!!! When this was booked for months!! Now I have to scramble for a new place that will hopefully do it. Shame on you!!! No one should give your their business whatsoever. Completely and utterly unacceptable. Said I was to be emailed a contract or mailed one and I was never told anything of the sort. Never asked for email or my physical address. Just took my phone number and my name.

I am so, so, so happy that I gave Suze Qs Shear Magic a chance! I got my hair colored by Brooke and she was absolutely fantastic!! I know little to nothing about hair in general so when I came in looking to lighten my hair she was so kind and patient with me, explaining every option and step as she went. And this is by far the best my hair has ever looked!! I’ve already gotten so many compliments and my husband can’t stop gushing about how pretty the color looks! First time I’ve left a salon and actually felt more confident! Julia and Suze were the other stylists there and they were all so nice and welcoming. Felt like I was hanging out with some awesome friends not folks I had just met. 10/10 would recommend this company and Brooke and I will definitely only be coming here if I need anything done!

I am new to the area I needed a haircut real bad, so I googled best rated hair salons in Chincoteague Virginia and Suzy Q’s Shear Magic came up, I read the reviews and they were all good so I thought I would try. I called and I got an appointment with Susy and I love my haircut. I also booked one for the following month when I walked in everyone is so friendly I felt right at home. I’m sure everyone gets nervous when they have to find a new hairdresser but I wasn’t nervous at all very comfortable and Felt like I have been going there for years.

Positive: ProfessionalismI needed a haircut badly so I went there. When I got to my daughters house I thought she wouldn’t like it because when I cut it short,she hates it. I had been growing it since the pandemic approximately 2 years. When I got got out of the car I thought here we go lol and she said your hair I love ❤️ it. When I got stationed in Chincoteague I couldn’t find a “typical” men’s barber shop. A local law enforcement officer recommended Suzie to me and I’m so glad he did. For 3 years, Suzie was my go-to! She does great work for both women and men and for our local military men, you can trust that she’ll get you squared-away! When I got stationed in Chincoteague I couldn’t find a “typical” men’s barber shop. A local law enforcement officer recommended Suzie to me and I’m so glad he did. For 3 years, Suzie was my go-to! I was a little nervous about going to Suzy Q’s because the place I wanted to go to was closed, but I’m so glad I came here! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and cute. Best of all, my stylist was very skilled; she got the layers and the length just right for my long, curly hair. I highly recommend this salon.
