Suzanne is a genius! My hair has never looked better! I came in for my first ever curly cut and she couldn’t have been kinder and more knowledgeable. She asked me about my own hair journey and really took the time to figure out what I wanted. She educated me on how to care for my hair. Overall, it was just a pleasantly positive and fun experience. As someone with very thick, curly hair, I definitely recommend coming here!

And although I could’ve trekked back into NYC for my color and cut, it just seemed like such a hassle, especially with the pandemic. My husband and I always drove past Suzanne’s and as it was walking distance from our home, I decided to give it a try.I wanted something really fun and neat. I went into for a color consultation with the colorist, Kevin, and asked if he could dye my hair blue. I’m Korean-American, with lots of red and orange undertones. Bleaching my hair is always tricky. But he did an amazing job, giving me all-over icy highlights and then going over it with a nice blue.I love the fact that I can always walk back to the salon to get a quick touch up. The ambiance and decor is clean and modern. Everyone is super nice in there. I just got married and moved to the neighborhood a few months ago. It’s always difficult finding a new salon. And although I could’ve trekked back into NYC for my color and cut, it just seemed like such a hassle, especially with the pandemic. My curly hair has always been super annoying to me…some days it would look great but the majority of the time I would just end up putting it in a pony tail. Suzanne is a magician and expert when it comes to looking and feeling good with curly hair. It was a blessing coming across this salon after going to many in NYC and NJ. My curly hair has always been super annoying to me…some days it would look great but the majority of the time I would just end up putting it in a pony tail. I used to get so frustrated with my curly hair since it would always frizz and some curls wouldn’t end up even. With her products, it completely reversed that and now I love wearing my hair curly. Suzanne’s Products (Suzanne Schiller) have honestly been the best thing that has happened to me. I used to get so frustrated with my curly hair since it would always frizz and some curls wouldn’t end up even. With her products, it completely reversed that and now I love wearing my hair curly. I have been to the original Deva salon in New York City on several occasions, worked with other curly hair specialists over the years, an NO ONE’S work comes close to comparing to Suzanne’s.She is a true artist. Not only is she an expert at performing a Deva Cut, but she combines that with her intuition and whatever my goal is.
