Lana and Laurie are the best electrologists I know! I’ve been going to Superior Skin Care and Electrolysis since December of 2020. However, that next fall when I moved to Denver for college I had to find a new electrologist who happened to recommend laser hair removal instead. Unfortunately, the laser hair removal had the opposite effect on my face and it resulted in more hair growth than I had ever had before. I was mortified and felt so insecure. Thankfully, with the help from Lana and Laurie I have been able to slowly reverse that hair growth. I’ve been to several different electrologists in the last couple of years both in Boston and Denver but none of them were as thorough, informative, understanding, and supportive as Lana and Laurie.I cannot recommend them enough!

10 months ago I started electrolysis at Superior Skin Care with Lana. Previously, I did laser, and when the hair grew back, waxed for many years. The decision to go ahead with electrolysis is a personal one, and I will tell you: finding a professional such as Lana is the best decision one can make for permanent hair removal. Her many years of experience, professional workmanship, and enjoyment of her work are evident. Now that the bulk of the thicker hairs in the treatment area have diminished, I am enjoying the great results! Before meeting Lana, let me tell you I was a mess! An insecure 21 year-old who spent countless days trying to find his “beauty”. I went to several different eyebrow places, trying to explain to them what I wanted but none seemed to get it, and instead they made my eyebrows look further from what I wanted. This led me down a very dark path resulting in myself overplucking my eyebrows and even shaving them off! Then during the summer of 2021, I learned what Electrolysis was and thought by getting this done, I would no longer have to worry about my eyebrows and instead, I could make the shape I created, be permanent. That’s when I first met Lana and told her that I wanted to keep the eyebrow shape I had at the time (eyebrows being half shaved off and just a straight line), and she had told me honestly, that it didn’t look natural and that she would give me what I wanted and will make it look natural too. I had severe trust issues when it came to my eyebrows before going to her, so a part of me was hesitant, but another part of me trusted her. This was my last hope for my eyebrows, after all, it was a permanent hair removal, but I trusted in her whole heartedly. Fast forward, to 8 months later, and let me tell you, I’ve never felt so beautiful, so happy, and so comfortable in my own skin than now! Lana did more than just fix my eyebrows, she showed me my own beauty, which I will always be grateful for. Thank you Lana, you are truly amazing!
