I could not be happier about my experience with Stephanie at Superior Salon and Spa. I have naturally curly (and frizzy/unruly) hair that isn’t ethnically curly. Steph started out by asking me what I like about my hair, what I didn’t like about my hair, and what I was hoping for in a haircut. She genuinely listened, asked questions for clarification, and then explained her thoughts on my haircut. Steph left me in awe. The haircut is absolutely perfect for my hair type. She took the time to style it curly and explained to me how I should be styling it on my own. It’s been years since I’ve walked out of a haircut feeling wonderful!

As a bride planning her wedding four hours from home, I was a bit nervous about finding a stylist for my special day. I was especially worried about finding someone who could do my hair in a way that would hold up to my adventurous wedding day. After a recommendation from a friend, I reached out to Superior Salon and Spa. I had a great experience at my trial appointment, Steph and Steph were so personable and knowledgeable. The day of my wedding, I was beyond happy with both my hair and makeup. My hair stayed in place amazingly for the entire day of events, nature, and people, without my head being sore all day from things holding it in place. Not only did my hair last through my wedding, it was still in place in the morning for our bridal adventure/trash the dress shoot with our photographer. It again held up for another 6 1/2 hours of hiking, climbing, wading the river, standing in and by waterfalls, rain, and Lake Superior. After all of that, there were only a few loose pieces. I can’t say enough about how awesome my experience was with the awesome people and services.
