I called and the only good stylist there (Susan) was no longer working there. There were many times when people would come in and wait for specifically for Susan — even every customer a few times… including the guy next to me who sat down and almost got his hair cut by a different stylist but then he looked over and literally said “I want my hair scissor cut like that instead, I’ll wait”. Needless to say, whatever happened you should have kept Susan because no one else can cut hair at this location.

I’m updating my review because I found some assertiveness within me me and decided to go back to the salon and have my hair reevaluated and ideally fixed if possible. The manager, Liz, did an awesome job and clearly had experience and knew what she was doing. I honestly think she might have spent more time on my hair than the original stylist. I called the manager and let him know and gave Liz serious props because I really want her to be recognized but didn’t have any cash to drop her for being awesome- wish I could re-tip the “right” stylist. Anyway, I found out that the stylist who originally cut my hair has only worked at this salon for a week. My recommendation- get her more training, supervision, or send her on her way. So I’ve changed the stars from 1 to 4 as I’ve now had two positive experiences here with the one doozy.
