I went for a simple basic trim, no brainer. I have long hair and a face frame and it needs to be sectioned and trimmed evenly. Usually takes 15-20 minutes. The hairdresser spent literary 5-7 minutes on my haircut. Didn’t even wet it properly. Didn’t soften the edges. Didn’t measure the length. Didn’t trim the entire face frame, just a section of it. Didn’t blow dry even for a little, like the all do at the end of the haircut. I came home and saw that the hair and especially the face frame was visibly at least half an inch uneven! I can understand minor deficiencies but this was just sloppy. I don’t even know what that was. Unqualified, unprofessional, sloppy, and extremely poor quality haircut. I am quite shocked how a person who I assume has done hair before could have done such a horrible job… Unbelievable.

I have had my hair done here recently and I was more than satisfied with the results. I really wanted to share a review for the appointment my two year old son had here recently. They were ready to get him in a chair the moment we walked in, and from the second everyone there was part of the experience and took extra steps to make his haircut experience go more smoothly. Everyone talked to him, was extremely kind toward him, and encouraged him to stay in the chair for the duration of the haircut. The stylist must be a father or a very well loved uncle, he was a natural with entertaining my son and making him feel secure while he was in the chair. As long as I live in this area this Supercuts is where my toddler and I both will be getting our haircuts. Stylists all seem really up to date in their knowledge and technique. I consistently get modern, fun, but professional haircuts and they are always able to keep up my needs. I spent years going to overpriced salons and results have never been as thorough and consistent as the high quality we received at Sandcity Supercuts. When we first moved here my first stylist recommend all our currently favorite places to eat and shop, even made some hidden gem childcare recommendations. These are good people with talent for what they do, and a genuinely positive regard for the people in our community even when they are super busy.

This super cuts was alright. I definitely prefer it to the one in salinas on N Davis. Yvette cut my hair and she was very nice and we really enjoyed her. I was with a stylist here to get a trim and have my hair layered. I also asked the stylist for bangs, which I’ve had before. He told me that my hair was too thin and that it wouldn’t look good on me. I offered to show him my reference photo because I figured he misunderstood what I wanted. He blew me off and told me again that the cut he already gave me looked perfect. I had to go to another place to get my hair cut in the style that I originally wanted. They had no issues styling my hair and it looks amazing. I’m very upset that The stylist did not even try to work with the look I wanted. I wasn’t even that complex. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll just take my business elsewhere. I also asked the stylist for bangs, which I’ve had before. He told me that my hair was too thin and that it wouldn’t look good on me.
