Went in there thinking that it’s be similar to a very good experience to the SuperCuts In my hometown. When I show pictures, the lady was nice to say it looked like a Vietnamese model but as she cut, I kept saying shorter and it seemed it was not as I planned it to be. I got shears instead of clippers on the sides and the top wasn’t textured(it’s a pixie cut). Doing my eyebrows, they weren’t shaped and seemed that they just cleaned them a little bit. They also force you or try to shove product into your hands to buy. I looked at my haircut and was utterly devastated. I spent 30 or so bucks on just my hair cut and I hated it. Sure I could’ve went back in and said fix it, but again-seemed she wouldn’t go as short. So, I went to Ulta instead and the Lady fixed it to what I wanted and shaped my brows to perfection. I will be going there instead of giving Supercuts my service. I feel awkward about getting my money back, even though I really should. Not a great experience.

Each time I go I get the exact same color that I had before so there are never any surprises. Ming and Son have been here for a long time!! They have cut my family’s hair for over 20 years (gave my 21 year old son his first haircut). I like that I can count on them when I call.

Its a big name in San Jose but my experience has not been very good. The biggest problem I have faced every time I went for haircuts is the communication gap because the hair stylists over there could not speak proper English neither do they understand. Luckily there was one lady who could. If you are planning to take the free or cheaper haircuts there which they offer to make their students practise then you might want to think twice because there is a big risk involved. If you are going for paid one its costly and you won’t feel like giving big tips.

Walked in with a photo of what I wanted for my son’s haircut, thinking there leaves no room for miscommunication. Walked out with something completely different (unwanted) that was too short now to fix and half cut. Told the lady that the picture does not match what I wanted. Still had to pay for the haircut. This was my SECOND time with this experience. I gave a second chance thinking that we all have “off days” and we all need another chance sometimes. Shame on me for giving this second chance.

I just finished getting a hair cut from this place I allways go to Mary but for some reason she was busy . I instead got a hair cut from this other lady I didint even ask for her name because of how mad I was . I had asked her to cut the top to where I can still slick it back I had really long hair . I also asked for a line up but I guess she didint know what that was as she pushed my hairline back instead of shape it .! My hair is now spiky my line up is oval and she pushed my hair line back . Never again will I come to this place I’m never satisfied and this last one really did it for me never again . 30 minute cut that looks like a 5 minute .

Minh is a sweetheart. She was kind, welcoming and got me seated right away. Cut my hair exactly as I asked, and asked me if things were Ok before she did them. Example: if you part your hair to side, I’ll cut it with the part OK. Or, do you want me to clean up the layers? She was very relaxing, I wanted to nap while she was cutting my hair haha. No tugging or breaking. Very satisfied.

I may have missed it but I couldn’t find a Supercuts along here. First time in CA and needed a haircut for a wedding. I went into a seven dollar place on reccoemedation of the reviews and asked if they were Supercuts and they said “Yes!! Come on in.” I asked for a little off the back and sides and she proceeded to start cutting massive chunks of hair off the top. I left the shop and found the real Supercuts on Coleman Avenue 570. Look it up on Google maps. They did a brilliant job of repairing the horrific haircut I recieved here. Honestly I asked to keep the centre parting and she wanted to make me look like the Fonze! Now my 5 inch hair is reduced to a 1 inch hair cut. Bitterly dissapointed.
