Carmen Z. is phenomenal hair stylist. She goes above and beyond, and is very detail oriented. Not to mention, it is a pleasure speaking to her about all sorts of topics. She makes me look sharp and I feel confident coming out of this Supercuts @ Lakeforest. Not to mention, I always receive compliments after I get a haircut. You can tell they genuinely care! I took my son for a hair cut and customer service was not nice.The same lady who ended up cutting my son’s hair appears to have the attitude that she knows it all in the very beginning. Well my son ended up having a very short hair cut almost shaved head and got his hear clipped as well. The lady keeps blaming him for moving. Instead of sincerely apologizing.

However considering the service we chose, which was three hair trims no shampoo no wash no dry no style, it was rather expensive. For all three trims it was $78 not including tip. I had the most splendid haircut today @ Supercuts with Carmen! I was a regular customer with Sody until the pandemic hit. I returned today to find out that Sody retired & Carmen cut my hair; she was extremely profesional, cleaned the station after her last customer & proceeded to layer/balance my grown-out haircut from last year. Kudos to her great job on my hair….I left with curly & a vibrant haircut!

I had a little time to kill one afternoon after work and decided to swing by to get a quick trim. The salon was very busy and I witnessed a couple people get skipped, but staff were quick to realize it and remedy the situation. All staff were courteous and friendly, and it helped that none of the clients were cranky either. I have long very fine straight hair that I have been dying myself for years (I have been to many, many stylists, even high end ones, who have not been able to accomplish what I want). Yolanda, my stylist for this visit, really took her time to discuss hair care and health with me and gave me excellent advice. She seemed pleased that I was doing many things right and was able to further educate me without being condescending. She also gave me the best bang trim (I have Bettie bangs which I cut myself, NO stylist has ever been able to do them how I like) that I have ever had from a stylist. I would visit this location again in a heartbeat.
