Second time coming here for a haircut. Besides the comb thumping my head repeatedly the hair cut was fine but I did “note to self” that I would switch to a different stylist . When it came time to pay the stylist charged me $30 but the sign says $29. I pointed out that I was a senior (66) and actually qualify for the senior price of $24. At that point the lady got a very perturbed look on her face and told me “Its to much work to void the sale “. Seriously?? It was a clear case of trying to boost her sales numbers. I paid and even gave a tip (smaller than usual ) I’m determined never to return again. That one decision cost the store repeat business. Use your heads. You’re in the customer service business. It’s about the whole experience , not just the cut.

Overpriced haircut. Charged $72 for a hair cut and “blow dry” style. I was charged $45 to curl tips? Cynthia lacked customer service and communication skills (attitude in her voice). Was I made aware my 13 y/o daughter would be charged 45 instead of 20 for style because she required a minimal “blow dry” after the stylist wet her hair. Stylist are free to make their own judgments on what to charge. Which this one went a bit overboard. I will not be returning. Should I get credit for overcharging service, I would take my business to another location until stylist turnover.

We have taken our kids, nephews, ourselves here for a couple years…no issue. Today, my special needs son was refused service. Manager contacted us to make situation right, very much respect her for that. Francis also was very nice, and why we will return.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueToday I finally got my “COVID cut” (i.e. the one that you get finally after months of dealing with pandemic mandated salon closures), and Pilitas “PJ” did an AMAZING job! I just moved into the area from out of state, and I was in desperate need of a trim. I requested PJ, because online reviews indicated that she does really well with hair color. She did a great job with my trim (that ended up needing to be a full-fledged cut due to how bad my ends had gotten). She also did really well with flat ironing my hair afterwards! In listening to the other two stylists and their clients, it’s clear that this location focuses heavily on customer service. Critical: QualityI asked the manager for just a bit off the top and to make it sort of messy but she ended up cutting it way too short for the style I was going for and it looked more like a bowl cut. Critical: ProfessionalismI went in wanting to get my hair a bit lighter, I showed the hair stylists a picture she said that she was able to do that for me, she bleach a forth of my hair when she realized she ran out of bleach, she told her manager yessica I believe that was her name, and she responded with a just use whatever we have in the back? Well I dont know what they ended up using but they melted my hair, 2 weeks later I talked to the manager and she offered a hair cut and a hair treatment but @ this point i didn’t want them to touch my hair, I asked for a refund, manager said yes, I made an appointment to pick up the money and when the day came she called out of work and now she won’t answer my text nor phone calls, I just feel its un profesional for them not to had realized they had no bleach when they made the first mixture, also to had used something else, also to promise a look they were not able to do, also to promise a refund and blowing you off afterwards, they should have just said no since the beginning.
