Called and had rude customer service. Said need to bring in a picture of what we want they can’t just tell us over the phone. I wasn’t aware of that. I wish they can give us an estimate for how much it would cost to get your hair curled. And online it says ask stylist and find out exact price. At least be a little more nicer on the phone since we don’t know how the procedure works at your salon since every place is different.

Decided to cut my hair and treat my cousin to get her hair colored. Was never greeted by the two employees at the front desk. They saw us walk in and continued talking. I asked for my cousin to get her hair colored and after her I wanted a cut. Alicia was the person who was going to service both of us. After sometime I asked to use the ladies room, I was told that it was not for the public due to covid. I said even for your paying customers she said no. I told her this was not right but she said it was the store policy yet there was no sign. I canceled my haircut with her but didn’t want my cousin not to get her hair dyed especially since I had already offered that to her. I left walking in the 90+ weather to find a place that might let me use the restroom. My cousin and I both are Senior Citizens, Disabled, Diabetic and take High Blood Pressure Medication which means this medication makes you go. When I returned my cousin was no where to be seen. I sat and waited thought maybe she was in the back for some reason. We’ll she was, she went to use the restroom. I could not believe that they allowed her to use it but denied me. I went up to Alicia and asked why would she deny me and allow my cousin to go. Her answer was well you can use the restroom only if you dye your hair. I could not believe her. I said what are you talking about. She said because it takes longer to dye your hair than to cut it. WTH. Is this girl for real. I told her you know I was getting my hair cut AFTER you dyed my cousins hair and I’m the one paying for her hair. I asked for the managers name and of course no manager and that she would be there tomorrow and to just call the store. There was no way to get a hold of the Manager or the Owner. The only way was to catch them at the store whenever they dropped in. I paid $65 for my cousins hair and her hair is short and very thin but I guess Alicia must have felt she worked really hard on her and used a lot of dye. And to top it off the cashier, Alicia’s sidekick had the nerve to ask me if I only wanted to pay $65, in other words how about the tip. They were lucky I paid at all. Is this some sort of discrimination against Seniors or the Disabled. I’m definitely going to look into this. That girl Alicia is heartless. Maybe there’s no Seniors or Disabled family members in her life but hopefully she’ll be in my position one day and remembers just how heartless and cruel she was. Karma.

This store won’t let you use your bathroom even if you are a customer! I was going to spend $30 here. Starbucks let you use their bathroom if you spend $5. Will never return to this location. I see so many people take their children here. Imagine having your child have an accident here because this business is heartless and absurd. Just called the Alhambra location. They have a bathroom for customers. Go there instead. Not allowing a paying customer to use a bathroom is such an F you to customers.

We’ve been coming here more often since the staff keeps wearing their masks and makes my son feel safe. Have had like 4 different stylist do my son’s hair and they always do a good job. Helps to give a good explanation of how you want the haircut.

I asked the lady to trim 1 inch, and she cut 3 !!! I used to have a beautiful, round, feminine undercut. Now I have a patchy disproportionate hedge jutting out from under my drastically too short, uneven haircut To begin with, I asked the receptionist and the stylist for a shampoo 3 times. They ignored me, and my hair was massacred as-is, dry and greasy. I look like a mushroom. I can’t bear to see my reflection until this disaster grows out.

The lady around 11:30-12:00pm rushed my daughter”s hair cut and did not blow dry it or comb it after. My daughter walked out with soaking wet hair! The lady was not professional! When I got home I dried my daughters hair myself & I noticed her haircut is so un even! Pieces of long hair stick out, does not match with her hair. The price is unmatched and Alicia gave me exactly what I wanted and did the job super fast. Just call ahead to find out what day a certain employee is working and call on that day to reserve a spot ahead of time. I did a walk in and only had to wait about 30 minutes.

I’ve had my haircut by everyone at this location, but Hazel’s work stands out the most. I take in pictures to give her an idea of what I want, and she tailors it to fit my features. She tells me what she’s going to do, why she’s doing it, and makes sure I’m ok with it or want it done differently. I however trust her EXPERT opinion and have never been upset with a haircut she has given me in the 3 to 4 years I have been preferring her. Hazel is truly passionate about her craft, and I recommend anyone to prefer her when signing in for a haircut. I mostly do undercuts with one side blended, and a hard part on the other with some length on the top to slick back or comb over. However, she has given me temple fades, tapers, undercut with a man bun, man bun with undercut/lineup, and a hard part curving from the back of my head out through the top corner of my hairline(not sure on the technical term for this one). I’ve never had a problem with waiting either, as I call in ahead of time to check the wait and have them sign me in as I’m going to head over. Only waiting I do is for Hazel as i, and many others, do prefer her. Hope this review helps someone find a personal go to person to cut your hair.
