I checked in online but wasn’t able to be seen. I arrived 15 minutes early but waited an additional 30 before the salon was technically closed and I could no longer keep waiting. While waiting, the stylist (I never got her name because I was not able to be seen) started having a very clearly transphobic and anti-LGBT conversation with her client. It made me very uncomfortable to be a captive audience to this, so I decided to leave and patronize another salon another time instead. I would advise against any LGBT-identifying individual patronizing this salon after the comments I heard.

VERY upset to say the least. Went in today for a cut and all over color. I just wanted to go back to my natural color (dark brown) from having blonde for so many years. Let’s not talk about how she, HERSELF went from blonde to brown and her hair didn’t look anywhere near as horrible as mine. You would think she knows what she’s doing. When she rinsed the color out and blow dried my hair the top of it looked orange, and the rest of my hair looked exactly the same color it did when I walked in there. She proceeds to say “it’s a lot lighter than I expected” well DUH! I had blonde highlights! What a waste of $145. Now I have to pay someone MORE money and waste MORE of my time sitting in a chair to make it look like the color I originally ASKED for. I will never come back here again. 0 STARS.

I respect everyone’s right to do as they see fit and that includes businesses. I also have the right to not go to businesses that are ridiculous. Went in today to get my son a haircut. Place was completely empty save 1 employee sitting at the counter seemingly bored out of her mind. She refused our service because we weren’t masked up.
