Took my boyfriend in yesterday to get his haircut. His hair was a little above shoulders length and we asked them to basically take it back to his regular cut. The staff was friendly, even gave me advice for beauty school. However, I do not appreciate how I looked over to the back of his neck during our day out to discover this. When the woman had first finished the haircut internally I was amazed on how fast she had got it done, but after seeing the damage done to him (its still burning this morning) I see how she got done so fast. He felt pinching during the appointment but isnt the kind of person to speak up and try to tell someone how to do their job. $22 (and a $5 tip) to get a haircut and cut all up. He doesnt hate his haircut, but not a huge fan of being in pain from it.

So went to get an undercut and a trim. The lady was very BERY nice but when I got home half of my head was shaved and there were chunks of long hair that wasn’t even. The line was not straight at all. And there were super long pieces of hair. I don’t normally go to Supercuts but they were the only ones open and needed it done for the next day. So ended up going to my original place, great clips. The girl who fixed my hair could not believe that’s what they let me walk out with. The haircut was extremely uneven as well but the girl at great clips told me to let it grow out a bit so we didn’t have to take more length off. Supercuts cost 22 and I gave her an 8 dollar tip. Great clips was 15 and she got a $10 tip. So most expensive hair cut of my life. Love great clips so much! She fixed it as much as she could but there was to much shaved off to begin with.

The first girl was young and didn’t understand how to cut my hair, perhaps because she was black and me white, I mean no harm, maybe she wasn’t ready to cut my type of normal hair. the African American lady that works here is absolutely fabulous. she was well knowledged in my kind of hair and super easy to talk to. she listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable with my anxiety. highly recommend. I will be returning for sure
