Talked out of a haircut. I went here early summer to get a new, shorter, layered hairstyle for summer. Tanya – like Tanya Tucker – was the stylist available and when I told her I wanted a layered hairstyle for summer, she said “Oh, honey you don’t want layers”. I told her again what I wanted and showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. She insisted that that is not what I wanted. So, some time later, I left there with the same haircut I had when I arrived (all one length) only a few inches shorter. I have never been talked out of a haircut before. Won’t be returning to that stylist again.

I am new to the area so I Went here to try and get a fast, cheap and passable (expectations were low) haircut… one of the slowest cuts in my life and also one of the worst. No cheaper than a good barber…. After getting in the chair it took her 45min to cut my hair and it was terrible, I would have said something but I was worried I’d get stuck there even longer…. Nice enough person just likely not the right profession for her to be in. This experience convinced me to go find myself a real barber so I guess I at least can be grateful for that.

I don’t get haircuts often because I enjoy my hair being longer on the top but when I do I just like the hair to be at the bottom of my eyelids. The lady asked how I would like my hair and that’s what I said just a small amount off the top to be at the bottom of my eyelid and I point to it and she says ok. We get to a point she shows it in the mirror when it was at the bottom of my eyelid and she said just a little blending on the top so it looks good and then she faces me back to the mirror and I don’t even know what she did but my hair was at the top of my forehead with no length. But being generous I said it was nice. But after a few hours I can’t stop thinking about how bad she messed up with such easy instructions Being honest I won’t be coming here again.
