My first experience on getting a hair cut, my husband and son have been seeing Michelle for years. I saw Ashley, and decided to get my hair trimmed. I have been having issues with my hair thinning due to my thyroid. She was very experienced in a short style and also made my hair feel even thicker with the type of cut she did. I have been coming to this Supercuts location on 4th street for a long time. But, today, was an absolute nightmare. My haircut is very simple. Brittany told me to take a seat. She dropped the #3 trimmer piece on the floor and was about to use it unsanitized on my head. After I asked if she would clean it, she asked me “Do you want me to clean it?” Wow, that’s a new one I have not heard before. Then she proceeds to use the trimmer with barely making contact with my side and back hair. I pointed this out, saying #3, that I’ve been getting for many many years doesn’t look right, and pointed out that if she doesn’t have the trimmer flush with my head it will not be uniformly even. This is basic stuff that I had to spoon feed to the stylist. Then she does scissors on top, but looks confused when I ask her if she’s going to blend it with the shorter #3 length on the sides and back of my head. At this point she asked a more senior colleague to do the blending. I paid and walked out after this science experiment of a haircut. I have been getting the same simple haircut for many years, and have been getting it done at this location for a very long time. I have never experienced such incompetence and disregard for basic common sense in a hair salon. I wouldn’t let this woman cut my dog’s hair for free. And she is the reason I will never go to any Supercuts location ever again. Please take this into consideration. I realize it’s challenging to find qualified hair stylists, but this person is an absolute disaster.

My teenage son decided to try to cut his own hair and it was an epic fail. I called the salon a nice lady named Ashley answered and even though they were getting ready to close soon she said for us to come in and she saved the day! My son was so happy and full of smiles. He loves his hair cut. He wanted a cool shaggy haircut and she was able to achieve his vision. A big thank you to Ashley.

The hair stylist doesn’t cut what you ask for, the stylist cut what she wants to cut… which means she cuts hair VERY SHORT. I should had read the reviews below prior to using this place. Also they close at 6pm not 8pm. Haircut

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the very uncomfortable shampoo chair. I am very satisfied with the cut that Michelle gave me. She listens, she’s pleasant and most importantly, she knows how to cut hair.I definitely will return.

I have been a regular at this location since they opened many years ago. The service is excellent and the people are wonderful. Some stylists have come and gone like you would expect but they also have long timers like Michelle who is amazing. LaShann is also excellent. Friendly and skilled stylists/colorists who do not run to the back to hide when they see long hair coming in wanting a cut and color (like other locations did). You will get the cut you want and you will definitely be back ! 🙂
