Went in with my two grandchildren for simple hair cuts. Two different people cut their hair and both of my grandchildren had the worst hair cuts ever. I feel like this place is a first job place after they get their Cosmetology license. I had to take both of them to a different place to get theirs hair fixed. What a waste of money and time. The sad part was that both the stylists thought is was ok for my grandchildren to leave looking awful with bad hair cuts. What has happened to pride in your work.

Clean, safe, and surprisingly fast considering how many customers were ahead of me on this Sunday’s visit. My stylist provided a professional cut. The other stylist was doing a great job with her customers. Both genuinely friendly. I would like to make this place my go to spot.

I called and set an appointment for 5pm at this location. I arrived, the doors were locked, and the person inside, likely the manager counting the money explained that they close at 5. This would have been fine, but the negative “not my problem, I don’t care tone” earns this location a 2 star review. Usually they are great, but a negative experience with likely the manager or shift supervisor makes me not want to visit this store anymore.

I went in for a cut and wax for my eyebrows and upper lip. The lady didn’t do in between my eyebrows – I was left having to pluck them when I got home. I’m Portuguese, so my hair is really noticeable, so I don’t see how she missed the largest area of hair that needed to be removed. Then for my cut, I said I needed it short, and she took maybe 1/2″ off. I needed more like 3″ off, but she was obviously in a rush (although I was the only person there) and I wasn’t about to say something to prolong the bad encounter. This location has gone through at least 20 different haircutters in the past year, none of them staying very long. None of them have been particularly good at their job, either. I live forty minutes away, so going to this one location was always because they treated me right. Now, I’m thinking of going anywhere else. Also, I had a $5 off coupon good for Mondays – Thursdays, valid for the entire month of October. When I went to use it I was told that they “don’t do that anymore” – meaning they don’t/won’t accept valid coupons any longer, according to this lady, telling me the new no coupon policy just started October 1st. If I would’ve known that, I wouldn’t have gotten the (barely done) wax! So my visit cost more like $30 when it should have been $15. So beware if you try to use any coupons, at least at the Melbourne location!

The haircut lady started off very friendly. Quite chatty, but seemed hurried. She used clippers that had not been cleaned before use, kinda just brushed them off. Then as she started cutting my hair she used a lot of force against my head. Next thing I know she catches a spot behind my ear, it hurt. I was confused then she says, “oh, there’s a dent. I guess I need to be careful.” She walks away to answer the phone and I check behind my ear. There is a decent amount of blood, so that cool. She cuts my head and blames me. No apology or anything. I will not be returning.
