I absolutely loved this salon! My last visit would be my last. I’m not sure why cutting it all even to get layers and curtain bangs had to be done. It was already in layers, needed trim and just do curtain bangs….. my hair was at my armpits and now it’s on top of my shoulders.

I walked in this afternoon for a haircut. I only waited a few minutes and Dana took me to her chair. She asked me what I wanted and then explained to me how she was going to cut my hair to create the style that I requested. Not only did she give me a great cut, she gave me some very good advice on hair products to use and how to use them. She is very engaging and friendly. I am very happy with my haircut and plan on going back. I will make an appointment with her instead of taking a chance on walking in.

I came in with pretty long hair that hadn’t been cut in a while I asked the woman whose name I don’t remember to give me a tapered fade and leave plenty of hair up top for me to have the style I showed her reference photos and ask specifically for it to look like one of the images I showed one of the 1st things she did was grab a pair of clippers and cut the top of my hair Which has never happened to me before since typically the length is cut with scissors and the tapered fade is applied with clippers but I guess because she was in a rush she cut the length out of my hair with clippers which is against exactly what I asked for. There was nothing for me to do but commit to the cut at this point I expressed my dissatisfaction to which the hair cutter said that she wasn’t used to cutting hair at her own salon. Long story short I asked for a simple cut gave photograph examples and the lady blatantly ignored my request and butchered my hair I will not go back to this location again Because it’s clear that supercuts doesn’t care how experienced the barbers they have in there are.

Stopped in to get my haircut yesterday at this location for noon . They wound up taking me back 18 mins late because both ladies had someone in their chair already . I’ve been getting my haircut at this location for a while now. Yesterday was the first time I’ve had to wait that long. It was so worth it! Sarah Beth did a great job on a basic women’s cut for me, and she was fun to talk to. Plus I realized I can get a perfectly great cut for $18 instead of the $80 I’ve been spending at a trendy salon. I live on James Island, but will be happy to drive to West Ashley for a quality, affordable cut. Two thumbs up!
