My husband goes here and usually gets a great haircut from one younger girl. I asked him to get my son’s haircut by the same girl and they ended up seeing an older woman. My son came home with his hair combed to the side and it looked cute at first. But then after his bath I realized just how terrible it was. My husband took him back under the one condition that the younger girl fixes it. Once again, the older woman cut it and made it look a tiny bit better. Now my husband is no longer allowed to take the kids for a haircut and my kids will never set foot in there again. Awful. 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the younger girl that’s in there.

The second super cuts I’ve been to. This time around my haircut and the service was below average. It’s a $20 haircut so I know what to expect but I was in and out of the chair in 10 minutes and it showed. Good place if you’re in a pinch but I’m personally looking for a better place.

Critical: Professionalism, Qualitythe lady was very rude, she had an attitude the entire time my friend and i were there. and she didn’t do anything we asked, she cut my friends hair too short and she didn’t cut mine enough. she didn’t even give me a chance to look and see if i liked it, she just ripped the cape off. she was tugging at my hair the whole time, and she ripped it out of my head. my hair is kinda damaged and the whole point of going was to cut the split ends off and she didn’t even do that. this was by far the worst experience i’ve had here, usually they do a good job but this time was unbelievable.the lady was very rude, she had an attitude the entire time my friend and i were there. and she didn’t do anything we asked, she cut my friends hair too short and she didn’t cut mine enough. she didn’t even give me a chance to look and see …More

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueCaroline did a fantastic job. My hair was long and she happily cut it extremely short for me. I love it. She was professional, friendly and very good at her job.Service: Haircut

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI am not one to normally write reviews except when someone performs exceptionally well. This is, however, the rarest of occasion, where I mention my dissatisfaction. I have witnessed multiple negative encounters involving staff at Supercuts at the Quaterpath location over the past three years and simply quit going there. I considered those as personality conflicts between staff members, that was not directed towards me, but displayed a poor level of professionalism that was isolated to that location. Today I went to the Merrimac Tr. location and there, found my experience not to be any better. My experiences at the Quaterpath location combined with what I experienced today seems to be a direct reflection in a lack of professional pride. I wasn’t greeted, just asked if I was the one who called. I wasn’t directed by they stylist, she moved around her station a little then looked up and just stared at me. 10 seconds of awkwardness then, “are you going to sit?” the woman asked. Her tone was abrupt, abrasive, and rude. I was asked how I would like my haircut and I responded with, “I would like a medium fade down to a 1, skin and taper the back. I like the length so keep as much as you can please and blend it into the fade.” She didn’t understand and asked if I wanted a 1 or skin on the sides. Asking for clarification isn’t a problem and I would much rather explain fully how I would like a haircut, rather than hope it is good in the end, however, her tone and demeanor screamed that I was mentally disabled. The stylist did not try to restate or describe how she understood what I would like, she simply repeated her original question three times exactly the same while sounding more and more inconvenienced. Quality of equipment and instruments were poor. Her instruments were dull and It felt as if my hair was being ripped out with each closing of here scissors. Maintenance on her trimmers and her skill at using them was something that needs attention. The trimmers were makin a grinding noise and felt harsh on the skin (obviously in need of TLC) and on my way home I kept feeling for blood at the top of my ears where the trimmer was used to edge my hairline. The fade is “OK” but nothing special and the top length was cut too short because the hair stylist continued to recut the top. Overall, the haircut isn’t terrible but most definitely doesn’t outweigh the negative experiences I have had with this organization. Simply put, Supercuts staffs individuals who do not seem to take pride in their profession. This last experience I have had was the same as the equipment that they use, dull and abrasive. I will never be going back. I would much rather pay an additional 10 bucks to be treated with respect, get a shoulder massage, and watch some sports. Those places smile at you when you walk in.Service: HairstylingI am not one to normally write reviews except when someone performs exceptionally well. Everyone here was really nice, professional, and you can tell they love what they do. I had highlights added to my hair for the first time so I was really nervous. Lisa made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision and I love my new look! Will definitely be coming back for touch ups and future cuts.

Lisa is the absolute best! I followed her from Newport News and she has been styling my hair for over six years. My husband will only get his hair cut by her as well, and we will travel wherever she goes for great service and awesome haircuts 🙂

Critical: ProfessionalismScheduled an appointment in person the day before, showed up at appointed time to find out stylist called out for the day (didn’t request a particular stylist either) and was told sorry, I have another appointment that is about to show up (but hasn’t yet). No phone call to let people know they don’t have an appointment anymore when phone number was taken down on appointment log. Frequent loyal customer for almost a decade. 5 minutes of phone calls would save lots of upset customers when they show up for appointments they can’t accommodate anymore.Scheduled an appointment in person the day before, showed up at appointed time to find out stylist called out for the day (didn’t request a particular stylist either) and was told sorry, I have another appointment that is about to show up …More

Critical: ProfessionalismI walked into the store at 1:42 and zero customers were inside. The lady working and sweeping waited a few minutes and asked me what I needed. I told her I was there for a haircut and then she refused to cut my hair because a 2:00 appointment was coming in in 12 minutes. As of 1:57, no one has even walked inside the store.
