I would like to give Rita of the Bayshore, NY salon more than a 10 star rating. She is fantastic! She always listens to your needs, is patient and extremely professional. I have been using Rita for over 10 years and she never disappoints. Her coloring technics are great, never had a bad experience with her. I highly recommend her. Keep up the great work Rita!

Sayville location: They are under new management. Our favorite beautician was there and tried to get us in. I took the kids there late afternoon after school before the holiday break.. Even though we waited over 2 hours there was not enough staff to give haircuts before the spring break/holiday due to high demand. So we returned a month AFTER the holiday, and they were still short staffed but we managed to get 2 fast haircuts in. My son wanted to get highlights but were told there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate him even though we were all getting haircuts anyway this is not the first time we were told this. Also, I had coupons which were not honored even though I got what was listed on coupon. The staff is nice, but not very honest.

As far as men’s cuts go, you’re asking for trouble. Always miss spots, often just don’t know what they’re doing with men’s hair. Used to be able to justify the lower quality with the lower price, but the prices have climbed higher as the quality has hit rock bottom. The women are nice, that’s the only reason they get 2 stars. But what does nice matter when they butcher your hair?
