I have never had an issue with wait time, but would suggest the “call ahead” option if you are in a rush. I have been seeing Kristina for all of my hair needs since the start of the pandemic. I have never had an issue with wait time, but would suggest the “call ahead” option if you are in a rush. I can trust her to be honest about what styles would look good and that she would never risk the integrity of my hair. I have loved my experience with Kristina so much that I even recommended her to my mom and step dad!

Critical: ProfessionalismWent in to get a haircut. Nobody was in the shop. Noon on a Friday. Finally a woman appears from the backroom. She said ” Do you have an appointment”. No I said. Well you have to have an appointment. There is nobody in the shop. I left and went to John’s in Newton. I walked right in and sat down for a wonderful haircut and beard trim.

Critical: ProfessionalismWent in for a simple shampoo and cut. When I sat in the chair, she asked if I drink a lot of water. She then proceeded to tell me I need to drink more to make my acne & acne marks go away. Um, excuse me. 1. That’s not how acne works 2. You’re not a dermatologist or an aesthetician, so you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m pretty sure the scientists all over the world that have been working on curing acne and other skin conditions know simply drinking water won’t make it go away. And acne sufferers who have struggled with acne for years (like myself) know that too. 3. I’m here for a freaking hair cut just cut my hair so I can leave.If I knew of any other salons near by, I would have just gotten up and left. You don’t make comments on people’s appearance and don’t give advice on a topic you know nothing about.
