Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI took my 3 year old son to Joana for a haircut. Even though they didn’t have the “cool” videos or seats that they have for toddlers in the “kid” salons, this was a great experience. Everyone greeted us so nicely and Joana kept my son engaged the entire time. She took her time and kept asking me if I wanted any changes. Most of the time in the kid salons I feel they rush and are annoyed if you ask them for changes. I will take him there again. I took my 3 year old son to Joana for a haircut. Even though they didn’t have the “cool” videos or seats that they have for toddlers in the “kid” salons, this was a great experience. Everyone greeted us so nicely and Joana kept my son engaged the entire time. She took her time and kept asking me if I wanted any changes. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueTaking my toddler to get his haircut is never pleasant. Or maybe I should say it’s never pleasant during the actual cutting process. He’s got some sensory issues and screams and cries during. The staff at Supercuts WLB, especially Carol, take it in stride. In fact, by the end of the cut my son acts like Carol is his bestie and talks about her constantly at home. Never mind the crying during the cut. Carol is great. She’ll maneuver in all sorts of ways to cut the hair of my squirming screaming toddler. The other staff, well, I would expect at least a groan when they see my son marching through the door, but they still smile (at least I think they are under their masks but pre-Covid they smiled) and greet us in a professional manner.Carol doesn’t just cut my son’s hair, she also does mine and my husband’s. Taking my toddler to get his haircut is never pleasant. Or maybe I should say it’s never pleasant during the actual cutting process. He’s got some sensory issues and screams and cries during.
