I am giving three stars because I had no issues prior. I usually see Vanessa, and she is great and professional. Today, I made an appointment and was taken care of by Cindy, who was rushing and did a terrible job. First, I am kicking myself because I should have spoken up right away as she put me in her chair that was covered in hair from the person before me. I wanted a side undercut, and I realized as she switched from a 1 to a 2 on the clippers, that they were also full of the person before’s hair. Before I could speak up, she started shaving. Didn’t pin the rest of my hair to the side or brush it or anything. I could see she was getting other hair that wasn’t part of the area I wanted shaved. She then quickly moved to trimming my hair. She didn’t wet my hair with the spray bottle, comb it out or anything, just started cutting. It was uneven and choppy all around, which I pointed out. I had been very specific that I only wanted 1-2 inches off, and she took off way more trying to “fix” after I said it wasn’t right. She then told me it was because I wanted one length instead of layers, and kept cutting my hair. I then decided I was done (she had done all this damage in under ten minutes), so I said I’d like her to stop and have the other stylist take over. She said she’d have her look at it at the end, and kept cutting shorter and shorter. I had to ask her three more times to please stop cutting my hair. She just told me to go wait in another chair, and let Vanessa know I wanted her to look at it. I waited patiently, but saw that even after all of my hair and everything, Cindy didn’t do anything other than sweep up the floor and continued on. Vanessa happily took over, and did a great job straightening out my hair and fixing the undercut, was very professional and used clean tools. I’ll definitely go back for Vanessa, but would recommend no one see Cindy. She doesn’t listen and will rush through and ruin your hair.

I’m extremely picky about my hair. Yes, I want a new haircut to look great. But. I challenge them to trim the dead ends off without taking off the length. I’ve cried after getting haircuts. Having said that, Alaysia did a great job. Its not looked this healthy in awhile. And, she took off the least amount possible. She showed me and let me grasp the idea before we started. It was an overall great experience. I’d recommend this place.
