First I tried to make an appt through their online booking, but it wouldn’t let me even though I input two different “passcodes” that they sent me by email. So I drove over. Lucky me: no one was waiting. That should have been a clue. The shop is darling, clean, nice entertainment while you wait (4 screen montage with different videos & good music). The price for a senior haircut was good: $20. But the haircut was awful. Auna cut my hair, said she had worked for some big name shop in Southlake, so I was hoping for something good. I explained exactly what I wanted and thought she would understand what “layered” meant. She didn’t. Instead of smooth all over layering in a pixie (it is especially important with pixie cuts) it was like Old McDonald’s farm: here a chop, there a chop, everywhere a chop chop. I didn’t realize till I got home how horrible it looked. I tried a wash and blow dry. Still bad. I slathered on a heavy pomade thinking I could at least comb it into place and look like an old lady trying to be androgynous. Still bad. I guess a ball cap is next. If you go, don’t use Auna. Use fauna or flora, maybe.

I took my 5 year old daughter here for her first hair cut. April did a great job and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this spot for kids and adults. A big deal us is they know how to handle hair for people of color.

Came here for a beard trim and brought my kids for their cuts. Worst haircut ever for my son. We all have long hair and put it up in either a viking braid or a man bun. For some reason the lady thought it was a good idea to cut almost 2 inches into my sons long hair…. see pic for reference. We’re now at a barber shop and they cant fix it…. obviously.

I regretfully have to leave a one star review for this establishment due to the inconsistency of staff and unprofessionalism and incompetence over the years. The owners are amazing and personable people but it just seems that they’re just to nice to the employees to run a tight ship. I have been using this establishment for years to get me and my boys haircuts and they’ve had some good stylists and terrible stylists it always seems like there is an internal battle between employees for who gets to cut who’s hair instead of the manager assigning who cuts whos hair. I personally have longer hair which takes time to grow out like anyone and I have had several different stylists just not listen and cut my hair the exact opposite of what I said even though asked more than once. I’ve had two years of hair growth just buzzed and snipped off twice now let alone the times where they couldn’t seem to blend a simple fade in with no lines and I’ve had to come home right after and personally fix a professional haircut I just paid $30 for, which isn’t easy to do without formal training and expensive salon tools but I’ve still managed to give myself a better haircut. On one occasion in 2018 they screwed up my haircut so badly I shaved my entire head and started over. I’ve never once complained and always left a decent tip for each stylist every single time. The stylists are polite and personable just incompetent in listening or understanding what you want except April and the young woman at the font left spot at this moment in time and another young blonde woman who was manager some time ago but everyone else there has been awful. I hope that the owners can take this review and apply the necessary adjustments in staff to ensure they stay in business for many years to come, as for me they have lost me as a loyal customer for life.

Always nice and clean spot . People really nice and the owner is really a good guy always. Only thing I don’t like is that sometimes the ladies that cut my sons hair are rushing and don’t pay attention to the cuts some time one side is longer than the other one but they are improving … I wish they would take the time and not rush so they would be perfect

Won’t go back her. Thing about getting a horrible haircut. Is your stuck with it. Make sure your hair person is in a good mood. I think I caught this person on a bad day. She took it out on my hair I look like I am in boot camp. So embarrassed by what she did. Haircut
