There seems to be no way to review the nail salon attached to this braiding salon. They seem to be one business because my receipt has this shops name on it and they even take their trash out together. This review is for the nail salon. DON’T GO THERE! Not only was their work obviously terrible, but the service is horrendous. I turned the music up on my phone to drown out the conversation of the 2 nail techs talking to each other across my nails the whole time. They aggravated me so badly. My nail tech paid me no mind, just yelled louder and continued her conversation with her friend.

I have been a customer for 17 years and I love it. My stylist is Rosie and she can do no wrong. Sally is present every time I’m there and she is so sweet and friendly. She always remembers the customers and greets everyone.If you have a braided style, this shop can do it….oh and they are fast!

This is the best braiding shop in the DMV. I have been doing my hair here for more than 10yrs they’re absolutely the best. Fast, professionals and friendly environment. I have been to this braiding salon quite a few times. It’s not the work that’s bad but it’s more of the attitude of the shop. I never went to a salon that decides the style for you. Whenever I have asked if they would do a style or would accommodate me they say NO especially generate some of the amount of money they want. The owner or manager usually dictates how many braids the braider is able to do based on what they want to receive for pay so they’re going to increase the amount of braids that they’re willing to do for you so the salon can get paid more. I can also tell they don’t stay up-to-date on the newest styles either. If you want something funky and fresh, you will need to go to another salon.

Went and got my hair braided by Cire and I was so happy with the services she provided!! She was extremely professional and kind and did a style for me that I thought wouldn’t work for my length of hair. I recently cut my locs and decided I was tired of styling the new short look so went to get some knotless braids with triangle parts. Every stylist I tried (not at this shop) claimed my hair needed to be at least 4in long but Cire was able to master it!!! Hair did not hurt and doesn’t feel too tight. I haven’t had any issues with braids slipping out and it’s been a week so far. Style only took 3hrs from start to finish. Great customer service and great results. Will be going again!

I have been going here since 2012… still a loyal customer to Super Hair Braiding as of TODAY! Sita is my stylist and is very nice. She braids fast and neat ALL THE TIME. All the braiding stylist in this salon are nice and kind and their work is very good! Since coming here in 2012, I haven’t been to another braiding salon. You will LOVE their work!

I love super hair braiding and nails! I’m getting married today and they were nice enough to style my braids in a bun for my wedding at no extra charge. The stylists are always friendly, welcoming, and flexible with appointment times. They accept walk ins too which is amazing for someone who always have pop up events to go to. The wait times are always reasonable and all of the hair stylists braid fast and consistently do amazing work. I always leave feeling beautiful and relaxed. I would definitely recommend that anyone choose super hair braiding and nails you won’t regret it.

Braider talked the entire time and was rude. Rushed me and at the end the hair was not worth 220. They are not all created equal. Receive a recommendation before going of which braider.
